Catarina's own birthday is coming up as she prepares for it in style! Catarina's birthday party is filled with fun and games as many middle schoolers arrive including Titus. Unfortunately, something happens that leaves the girls in a fight.

Everyone had fun, well, if you didn't count boys crowding around Sierra, saying things like, "Oh, you look wonderful! Sierra, I never knew you would be caught alive in a dress!" And every time, Sierra Silveron mumbled, "Well, I didn't either, but that's really just my birthday gift to Catarina."
It surprised Sierra, at the end of the party, that Catarina was actually grumpy! She groaned every time a boy got near her, especially Titus, who was extremely well dressed for the occasion-probably just to impress Sierra. "It's my party, you know," muttered Catarina, "Not Sierra's."
Valerie Kings though, who had still not gotten over the fact that Sierra punched her in the face last week when being asked to go to the mall with her three times during lunch, was kinder to Catarina than Sierra.
"Sierra looks wonderful," she kept on saying, "thanks to you, Catarina."
Catarina would blush, and send Sierra a look that said "I told you so".
Sierra didn't know how to react. She was sick of boys, it seemed ridiculous that Catarina had to invite so many of them. What upset her even more, was that at the end of the day, Titus and Austin came up to her, asking her on a date.
"George and I are going next week to the movies," was Titus' excuse, "we thought you'd love to come along, because guess what the movie is?....."
Austin, a very shy boy's excuse was, "Uh, Sierra....well, do you want to come over to my house? To get to know each other?.....my sister-er-admires you, you're so good at sports......"
Catarina, who was eavesdropping, heard this and stormed upstairs. The whole house was quiet, now that the party had ended. Sierra thought it was best to ignore her, but however, she decided to follow Catarina up to her room.
