Sierra and Catarina S1 E3: Catarina's Birthday (December 6th)

Part 2

They arrived at the mall. The many clothing stores surrounding her made Sierra dizzy. She wanted to go home, relax on the couch, and, well.........eat cheesecake. But everything was happening too sudden. Catarina pulled her into a sunny store, and before she knew it, she was trying on about a million dresses in the dressing room.

"Oh, I like this yellow one, but it's too small." Catarina pursed her lips thoughtfully.

"Well, I don't like it." Sierra crossed her arms. "By the way, my arms are aching from this tight dress," she added, hoping that they could go to Smoothie Paradise to chill for a moment.

But Catarina paid no attention. The dressing room piled higher with dresses. Sierra covered her eyes, blocking the glaring light, she leaned back, feeling more relaxed, imagining her herself lying on a sandy beach, her hands blocking the sun like bright blue sun glasses she loved.....

"Ooh, I've got the perfect dress!" shouted Catarina, cupping her hands around Sierra's eyes.

Sierra un-covered her hands. The dress, surprisingly, was okay. Bright turquoise, not lemonade pink, like the last one. Along with it, Catarina was holding a pair of bright, golden sandals.

"Try it on," Catarina told her urgently, shaking the dress in front of her face.

Sierra tried it on. It was just right. She tried on the golden sandals. It was okay, if not including the uncomfortable feeling she had with her toes-she preferred sneakers.

"Okay, stop squirming," ordered Catarina. They were done shopping, and now in Catarina's room. It was the big day, Catarina's birthday, to be precise, and she was braiding Sierra's hair in gold. It was as early as 9'o'clock in the morning and they were already preparing.

"Ah, done!" Catarina cried, proudly, handing over the mirror.

Sierra looked better than ever in her bright turquoise dress, gold bracelets dangling from her wrist, her sandals glimmering beautifully on her feet, braids shining like the gold wheat in the fields, and the makeup was done perfectly. The final touch, of course, was Pink Floral and a tiara.
