Deans POV - age 14Come over to my house jump in the neighbor's pool,
It felt nice, felt so nice"Deann" screamed the familiar laughter.
A slash and the sound of slapping
"Hey missy, watch where you're throwing that. You're here to help me with cleaning, not joking around." I smile and smirk at my best friend.
"Alright fine" she says, faking to be upset.
So like any logical person would, I splashed water back at her. Her smile could literally light up a whole room.
We spent the rest of the afternoon washing up my dads car. It was a big deal for her to help.
Sammy would occasionally come to help but would get bored and go play.
Our fathers regularly hunted together so usually she would hang out with us. But her father had his reserves about Sammy and I and would flip out if he knew she was here alone with us.
By the time the car was actually washed It was dark and I went in the small hotel to get a drink. She walked in behind me but went to the beds and I went to the fridge.
When I found the waters in the back of the fridge I turned to see (Y/N) tucking Sammy into bed while reading him a story.
She always brought him a book. It warmed my heart to see it.
I walked over to them and sat on the opposite side of the bed and gave Sammy a kiss on the forehead before he fell asleep. He always slept best when she was here, reading to him.
We then retired to the beat up couch full of unknown stains and smells but we couldn't care less. Hotels were like home for us.
I picked a movie that was on and watched her work on braiding colorful rope.
An hour later she had fallen asleep on my legs and I brushed hair out of her face. She was gorgeous. When she was awake you could tell she hunted, she had a stern look about her. But when she slept, she looked at peace, and had an innocence about her.
And it was getting dark, you wrapped your long legs around me,
I held on tight
Lying in my bed the unfamiliar sheets felt so cool
On your skinShe moved a bit and I silently stood up and walked over to the phone, dialing my dads number.
"Dean. Dean what's wrong"
"Nothing dad I'm just seeing if you're alrigh-"
"Yes. We're fine, be home in a few hours. Make sure (Y/N) is at HER room. Bye."
"Bye."
I hung up the phone and sighed. Typical.
I walked back over to the couch and she was stirring a bit.
It almost hurt to wake her.
"(Y/N)", I whispered a few times.
"What?" She said irritably
I smiled and laughed at her tone,
"C'mon our dads will be home in a few hours and you need to go to your room. You know he will flip."
"Fiiine." She groaned, and sat up on the couch, giving me a sleepy smile. "Walk me to my room?"
"Why of course madam," I said, helping her up, but she just slumped like a rag doll onto and it made us both laugh.
Somehow, only her and Sammy could make me genuinely laugh.
When your daddy called said you were at a friend's
And we walked the long way home
Going on, my first impression, I recall you wearing white
There was something sweet in the air, babe, that summer night
There will always be another time for us to fall in love
But it never cuts you quite as deep as that first time
