Chapter 3 - The World We Live In

Jazmine's POV

"No Thanh. I need to study for exams. And besides, you can't make me go." Thanh was currently trying to get me to go to the Mall. Ha. Fat chance. At 5'1, Thanh was short, unlike me, I was 5'9.

"I can't make you go, but they can." Thanh said gesturing to the door. It burst open revealing my 2 best friends, Emily and Meredith. And I could not believe there get-up.

Meredith was sporting a "I Luv 1D" hoodie along with jeans which she had written "1D LOVER FOREVER!!" Over and over. Then using pieces of tape, she wrote each of the boys name and put the strips of tape on her face. Meredith even had 1D earrings.

Emily wasn't as crazy. She had an over sized "I love Liam" shirt. Her jeans, which I guess were custom made, had One Direction ritten in different colors.  Both Emily and Meredith's shoes had the bands' member names. They had so many bracelets that it ran all the way up to their shoulders.

".... Oh. My. Fucking. God." Was all I could say.

"Come on girl! We're going shopping! You need to look good for the concert on Friday!" Emily yelled.

I stood there in shock, proccessing what she just said. "Wait, what concert?"

"Guess." Meredith said excited.

"Sleeping With Sirens, Usher, Chris Brown, T-Pain, Sleeping With Sirens?" I said also excited.

"You said Sleeping With Sirens twice." Thanh noted.

"I know because I love them!" I squealed.

"Well, thats too bad cause all those guesses are wrong!" Emily said, still smiling.

My face fell. "Then what is it?"

Meredith and Emily took a deep breath. "ONE DIRECTION!" They shouted at the same time.

No no no no no no no no no no no... "I'm not going." I stated firmly.

"You don't have a choice." Thanh chimed in.

"Wait you knew about this even when I said I HATED THEM!!!???" I yelled.

"Well this was before I knew how much." Thanh replied nervously.

"I'm gon-" I didn't get to finish because Emily and Meredith were dragging me to the car.

"LET ME GO!!" I screamed. They didn't let go until they buckled me into the car, child locked it, and all jumped into the car. 

I huffed the whole way there. While I was huffing, I thought about something. If we were going to the Mall, they would buy me clothes. NEW clothes. I suddenly got excited. 

I would bribe them into buying clothes, letting them think I was actually ging to concert. I chuckled evilly to myself. 

This was going to be fun.

Meredith's POV

I heard Jaz chuckle. Hmm... I wonder what thats all about.

"We're here!" I annouced, only to get a grunt from Jaz. She'll thank me later.

We all got out and went to our favorite store: Forever 21.

We all split up into different directions. Of course, I saw Jaz go to the glove section. That girl and her fingerless gloves. Its like she never took them off.

Me aand Emily had already chose our clothes, so we split off to help Thanh and Jaz choose there outfits.

While Emily went to help Jaz, I helped Thanh.

It took a total of 4 hours to find their outfits.

They showed each other their outfits. I could tell they love them, though Jaz had more things than Thanh. 

I drove them home.

"Okay. The cocert is on Friday and starts at 8:00pm. I'll come at 6:00pm to help you guys get ready. We need to get there by at least 7:00pm. Got it?" I looked at Thanh and Jaz. Thanh nodded. Jaz did but alot slower.

Hmm...

Jazmine's POV

"Deuces." I said to Emily and Meredith. Emily got out and opened my door.

Me and Thanh walked back into my house. I dropped my stuff and went straight to studying, pushing my glasses up more. I never mentioned I wore glasses? Well, now I did.

Just as I opened my textbook, I heard that stupid One Direction song, One Thing, blasting from Meredith's car. I hear them souting lyrics as they sped off. Thats just the kind of world me and Thanh live in with those two.

As I read, I asked Thanh, "Are you spending the night for school tommorrow or going home?"

"I guess I'll stay the night again. I have spare clothes." She answered. 

After about 3 hours of studying I decided to go to sleep. 

Exausted, Thanh collasped on my bed and fell asleep.

I changed into a plain black hoodie and plaid black pj pants. Then grabbing my iPod, I tapped Sleeping With Sirens - A Trophy Father's Trophy Son and quickly fell asleep.
