Chapter 29 - New Friends

Jazmine POV

In the rest of my classes, I barely paid any attention. I kept thinking about my detention.

Right now I was in math, ignoring the teacher and talking to one of the girls beside me. Her name was Kyla. She was technically a trouble maker, but other times she wasn't. She was right in the middle. Kendal had blonde hair that was dyed purple at the bottom, and grey eyes.

"Really? Your friends forced you to do that?" Kendall asked me. I nodded. I had just told her how they forced me to go to a One Direction concert. Shudder.

"The worst part was that they had gotten front row seats AND back stage passes." I shook my head. "Never wanna do that again."

"I'd be scarred for life." Kendall says. I nod. "I am."

The bell rang, signaling the end of class. We both got up and gathered our things. I saw Kendall's friends start to walk to the front of the class to walk with her. As they came closer, Kendall turned to me. "Wanna hang out with us after school? We're going to the mall."

I thought about it. I was surprised. Rarely anyone talked to me; much less asked me to hang out with them. Was getting in trouble all it took to get friends? If that was the case, I could've has some a LONG time ago.

"Sure." I say. Then I remember; I have detention. "Damn it. I can't. I have detention." I tell Kayla and her friends.

One of Kendall's friends, Peyton, tells me "Skip it. Its not like the teachers watch you anyway. They just check and see if you're there before they leave to get laid by the principle." We all laugh at his assumption, though its probably right.

"Okay. Sure." We all walk out of class and into the crowded hallway, where people are trying to escape this hell hole. I quickly walk past the principle's office.

When we all get outside, we split up people into groups. Since Kendalla and I are the only ones with cars, we spilt the group evenly.

Peyton, Alex, James, Oralia, Joanna, and Kim ride with me while Andrew, Hayden, Tareeko, Jasmine, Molly, and Ariana ride with Kendalla. Just before we're about to go to our cars, Kendalla sees more of her friends and tells us to wait. She walks over and asks them something. I see them nod 'Yes' and Kendall comes back over. "Okay. Emily, Martha, Leslie, and Demetri are coming too. They'll meet us there." We all nod before splitting off to our cars.

I'm glad I decided to drive my Range Rover today.

Peyton runs to the right side of the car yelling "SHOT GUN!" while everyone laughs. We all squish into my car. As I sit in my drivers seat and turn the key in ignition, Peyton goes through my CDs.

"OMG, you have Punk Goes Pop!" Peyton squealed like a little girl. I giggle as Peyton quickly put in the CD in my CDs player. The beginning of 'Somebody That I Used To Know' began to play.

The 7 of us chatted as we drove to the mall. During the drive, I guessed that Peyton and Oralia were dating, due to the fact that they kept flirting with each other. Kim and Alex seemed to like each other even though they denied it, everyone knew it. Joanna was funny and the most quiet. James was loud and quite hilarious.

We arrived at the mall 15 minutes later. We pulled into a spot next to Kendall before getting out.

"I've always wanted a gay best boy friend." I say, laughing from what James said earlier. All of us laugh even harder.

Once we compose ourselves enough, we began to walk towards the entrance to the mall where everyone was waiting.

All of us group together and make a plan. All the girls decide to go to Forever 21 and the boys go to Game Stop. We'd all meet up and go to Hot Topic and Vans, and after that we'll go to the food court before splitting of again.

But before the girls and boys split up, I see Thanh walking out of Hollister, along with Amber and Emily.

I'm about to walk over and ask where the hell they've been all day until I see hooded figures follow after them, laughing and talking.

5 hooded people.

Its not until one of the guys in a red striped hoodie shoves another one of his friends that my suspicions are confirmed.

When the shoved boy trips, his hood moves a little, and I see...

Curls.

Just expect my updates to be between Mondays and Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
