Appearance: Rodie has dark hair that falls in waves around her shoulders and lightens near the bottom. Her eyes are hazel, but often appear green. She's tall and slim, with a kind smile and inviting presence.

Backstory: She was born in a house that closely resembled a shack. Her father disappeared when she was five, leaving just her, her mother, and her two year old brother. Her mother was a magician who withdrew from the magic community after an incident that she never talks about. She taught Rodie magic and, six years after Rodie's father left, a letter arrived informing her that she had been accepted into Hogwarts. Rodie accepted, leaving her family and traveling to Scotland for the entrance ceremony. There, she was sorted into Slytherin. While she didn't enjoy the company of the people there a whole lot, she also found it hard to find friends among the other houses, as people weren't keen to trust a Slytherin. Still, she was glad for the opportunity to learn more magic and get away from the small shack her family called home. She sent money to her family every so often, when she could get it, and eventually settled into life at Hogwarts.

Personality: Rodie is smart and cunning. She knows how to trick someone and plans nearly everything that goes on in her life. She's not the type to do something just to do it- it has to be on her schedule or she won't bother with it. Spontaneity isn't exactly her thing. She loves to learn, doesn't ever do things halfway, and is good at getting things when she needs them. She's kind, but not so much that she would go out of her way to help with someone else's problems unless she knew they really needed her.

Magic/Powers: She can cast spells with her wand.

Weapon of Choice: Her magic, since it's convenient.

Strengths: Magic, for one. She's a natural and it's helpful in all kinds of situations. She's also smart, great at planning, and knows a lot of things that seem random, but come in handy at times.

Weaknesses: When something doesn't go as planned, it often blindsides her. She plans her day carefully and follows her schedule to a T. If that gets messed up, it takes her a while to recover. She has a hard time socializing with people, partially because she expects people from other houses to shun her and doesn't care to be around the other Slytherin, but also because she just isn't good at it. She doesn't know how to fight well without her magic. Yeah, she can throw a punch or kick someone, but it's more like flailing around than it is skillful fighting.

Captured: She was on the way to one of her classes when a bunch of Unseelie guards came out of nowhere and dragged her through a portal. Needless to say, it was unexpected, unplanned, and took her completely by surprise. So much so that she forgot she could fight back and just let it happen.

Greatest Fear: Rodie fears losing the stability her life at Hogwarts gives her. Spending her years with so much uncertainty as a child instilled a need for order in her life. When that order is taken away, the endless possibilities of what might happen terrify her.

Insecurities: She's not like the other Slytherin- she tells herself that constantly. Still, deep down she's afraid that she's more like them that she'd care to admit. She fears that evil resides in her and the fact that everyone seems so eager to believe it only reinforces that belief.
