There's this wall in my mind that's convinced it must stand unbreakable except in fantasy of a different life. A wall built brick by brick of passing comments, jokes, and wishes kept untrue.
A human bent wall with pictures and poems of love, freindship, kissing. All the summer sweet things in a persons life taped on the inside brick. Memorized, underlined, pondered with such raw want, it never sees through. No one ever escapes such a withdrawn fortress.
