Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep I smack my hand on my annoying alarm clock. It's currently 6:30 and Ryan will be here at 8:45. So I have almost an hour and a half to get ready. I pick out an outfit do my hair and apply some makeup before going downstairs for breakfast.

I walk down the stairs not surprised that my foster parents aren't home. I grab an ego and place it in the toaster. I walk over to shadows food bowl and feed her. R: On my way 😎 S: Ok I grab some butter from the refrigerator and butter my ego. I put shadow on a leash, grab the note and walk outside to wait for Ryan while eating my ego... don't worry I eat a lot just not in the morning. About 5 minutes later Ryan pulls up and honks the horn at me. "I hope you know that you took away half of my hearing just then." I say to him "What was that?!?" he asked yelling "Stop yelling at me and drive." I yell frustrated "Woah shadow you don't need to yell." He says pulling out of the driveway I roll my eyes at him. "Oh and I don't think dogs can yell." I say "Oh you brought shadow." He says "Told ya I would." I say "Yeah but I thought you were joking." He says "Nope." I say while petting shadow "Ok now you look like one of those creepy cat people you see on tv." He says "Thanks?" I say/ask Thanks to Ryan's 'awesome' driving a 10 minute car ride took 4 minutes. (Not the air quotes around awesome) "Thanks for the ride." I say getting out of the car and shadow jumps out with me "No problem." He replies getting out and walking to the group of jocks. I walk into the building only to find people huddled in groups or by themselves watching something on YouTube. I don't really care. I walk to my locker and grab the books I need and walk to class. Just as I was about to walk in someone grabbed my waist and pulled me backwards. "Hey Ana." Alex said "Hey." I say "Can I see your schedule?" He asks "No." I say "What was that?" he asks glaring at me I gulp "uh I-I said you could." I quickly say handing him my schedule "That's what I thought." He says glancing at my schedule "Oh good we have all classes together." He says smirking at me "Yay." I say sarcastically "Stop being so sarcastic." He says glaring at me "Whatever can we go?" I ask "Sure Ana." He says wrapping his arm around my waist. "Oh and why do you have a dog with you?" Alex asks "Oh cause my councilor wants me to have one." I say "Oh ok." He says We walk to class. I squirm out of his arm before walking into the class room and walking to my normal seat. "Sup sis" Ethan greets "Hey" I say "What have you been up to?" He asks "Nothin much just got a dog. Oh and catching up with my boyfriend." I say "Oh cool... WAIT WHAT BOY?!?!" He asks whisper screaming "Alex." I say "Wait your telling me that your dating Alex Storm?" He asks "Yeah." I say He and the boys start laughing. Oh my... where is Alex anyway he was right behind me. I wonder scanning my eyes across the class. Oh he's talking with the teacher. When the boys stop laughing, Jacob walks over to me. "Sorry to break it to ya girl, but there is no way that you are dating Alex. He probably doesn't even know who you are." Jacob says "Oh you'd be surprised." I mumble Jacob slung his arm on my shoulder and as if right on time Alex walks over to me and kisses my cheek. "Told ya so" I mouth to the boys who have their wide open "Shut your mouths you might catch flies." I say "So Ana want to introduce me to your... friends? Who happens to be boys." He asks whispering the last part to me "So the brown haired one is my brother Ethan, and the the twins are Joshua and Jacob and the blonde one is Andrew." I say "Ok" was all he said before taking a seat next to me I know if that's all he said he definitely thinks I'm lying, so I don't object him sitting next to me. 3 hours later it was finally time for lunch And I bet you at the same time he always does Ryan's gonna come over and start something I walk over to my usual table and take a seat. Alex is still getting his food. I'm surprised that I'm so far away from him now. Like literally the whole day he has been a kola bear. (🤦🏽♀️ it's funny to me...) "Sup shadow." Ryan says with his two other friends "Hey..." I say "I saw you talking with Alex earlier. Are you guys dating?" Alexander asks "Something like that." I say "But if you wanna see the light of day again I suggest you go away before Alex gets here." I say "Yeah whatever. Wouldn't wanna cause any trouble with the mafia's girl." Ryan says walking away 'Ugh 😑 mafia girl really?' Lilith asks 'Well it's better than shadow... I guess.' I reply "Hey Ana." Alex says sitting next to me "Hey" I say "So why do you wear a hoodie?" He asks "I'm the shadow of the school." I say "Why would you want to hide all that beautifulness?" He asks "Because... you know how it is/was with my dad and without you here to defend me I decided to hide." I say "Oh" he says "Well your coming over to my house after school." He says "Whyyy?" I ask "Because my sister wants to see you." He says "Which one?" I ask "Ivy" he says smirking "Your joking right?" I ask "Nope." He says "Ugh" I say walking away "Don't walk away from me!" He calls after me I kept walking. I decide to run around the corner and into the girls bathroom before he sees where I go.
