YAMATO: Chapter one.
Alex Carter's P.O.V
"Calling all passengers of flight 113, please proceed to the boarding area." A voice breamed through the speakers of the airport. That's my cue.
I walked towards the boarding area, I'm never a fan of airplanes. Never was, never will. I love going to places, but not the part where I need to ride an airplane. The idea of it's possibility to crash any second scares the hell out of me.
I know you're thinking: if I'm not fond of aircrafts, then why am I riding one? Well, we don't live in a world where it's always rainbows and butterflies. Reality is the biggest fear of each and every human being. My parents sent me to London to be hidden, a protection detail.
I walked inside the plane, sitting on my designated seat; next to a random stranger who offered me a smile and I returned the sweet gesture.
After the flight attendants performing safety precautions in case of misfortunate events, I wore my earplugs and let sleep take over. I don't want to feel the moving of this aircraft, the last thing I want to happen is hurling.

I scanned the place as I walked out of Heathrow airport and I spotted an office girl holding a plaque card that says: Welcome to London, Alex Carter.
Seriously? Why do they need to do this?
I walked to the girl "Hello, I'm Alex Carter." I introduced myself, showing her my passport.
"Welcome to London Ms. Carter, this is your ride to your hotel and for the rest of your stay here in London." Her sweet yet thick British accent made it hard to understand.
"Thank you." I smiled as I hopped inside the passenger sit of the vehicle.
I sat back in silence as I admire the beautiful streets of London. Big red bus everywhere, Brits walking here and there.
After a good twenty minute drive, I finally reached my hotel. I'd consider staying in an apartment, but my mother won't let me.
The driver handed the keys to the valet and I walked inside the hotel. I'll definitely move to an apartment in a week or less. This looks like it costs a fortune for just one night.
I stepped into an empty elevator, pressing the number four. After a few minutes, the elevator made a ding sound; indicating that the elevator already reached my desired floor.
"Room 284. Aha. Gotcha." I mumbled to myself, swiping the card so the door will open.
A small kitchen, a bed enough for two people, a flat screen, a couch and coffee table and a balcony where you can see the beauty of night lights here in London. This is perfect.
I wore a denim jacket and a beanie, considering it's ice-cold here in London. Maybe a little walk around the streets of London will help me soothe my nerves from earlier's flight.
"Heading out?" A man in nearly my age asked me when I stepped inside the elevator.
"Yeah. Gonna take a little walk. Do you know any good cafés here?" I asked him as I press the ground button.
"Oh, American accent. Well yeah, there's a good one. Maybe a ten minute walk from here." he nodded
"Where you from?" He asked. Why is this elevator taking forever? I'm shit at communicating.
"Berkeley Heights." I answered and the elevator made a ding sound.
"Guess I'll see you around. Thank you." I thanked him and stepped out of the elevator and walked out of the lobby.
