YAMATO: Chapter six

Stanley Elgort's P.O.V

I'm a jerk, okay I'll admit that.

A rude and disrespectful one. I lost my catch there, up in her room.

I spoke back to her mother, I lost her in the dark road. And here Iam, sitting inside my car, outside of her house; keeping a decent distance. Worried shit. Is she home yet?

I fell asleep waiting for her last night. I could've just said "It's dangerous here, let's go." but of course, I'll say it again Im a jerk.

Just as I was about the leave, I saw her leaving their house. Went inside her car and left. Now, where is she going?

After following her, I end up being inside the mall; watching her walk around the floor. Just, aimlessly walking around. What the hell is she doing?

And the next thing I know is she is hiding beside the trash bin. What. The. Hell.

"Hey." I whispered behind her.

"What the fuck?" she jumped lightly "Stop popping every now and then!" she whispered in a shouting tone

"Sorry," I mumbled

Being this close to her gave me access to smell her hair. I might sound like a psycho right now but it smells like vanilla.

"Hey, are you following me again? And looks like you haven't even taken a bath yet!"

"Why are you hiding behind this trash bin?" I asked her.

She stiffen for a good three seconds stood up.

"What are you doing?" I asked her

"Just get on with it, I'll explain later."

Minutes later she shook my hand "Loosen up."

"What the hell are you really doing?" I asked again

Another good ten minutes, she started dragging me inside a cafe.

"What was all that?" I asked when she lets go of my hand.

"Geez, what the fuck." she sighed

"Give me minute, kay?" She pleaded and she ran a hand through her hair

"So," she finally spoke up after a few minutes

"I saw someone. He's-I don't know what to call him. But let's just say he isn't a nice guy."

"I say I ain't a ten year old boy, I'm twenty four and I can understand whatever you'll say."

"No." she spoke right up, not missing a second

"You won't understand"

"Look, Stanley. We don't live in a world we think we do. Some times soap opera shit can happen, you know." I sighed

"For every person, there is a story. For every story, there is pain."

What? What the hell is she talking about?

"Let's just get some drinks, shall we?" She smiled and called the barista over.

Alex Carter's P.O.V

Three months has passed since the mall incident. That scared the living shit inside of me.

In three months, Stanley and I have been hanging out. A lot. Time flies so quickly, I haven't realised that it has been a month.

So much has happened in three months. I got myself a job, and Stanley here looks like he's been working on my work place too. Basically, he said it's the reason why he flew here from England.
