Tag, You're It

"Tag, you're it!" KC yelled after tapping Jermy's shoulder. "Hey!" Jermy shouted. Both children were in 5th grade and had a small crush on one another. They had their own tag game which they would tag each other back  and forth, even in class. The game never stopped and neither did they. KC has been warned that Jermy would be moving to Colarado in a year but she was a stubourn child, and never decided to think of it. When the last day of their friendship came, it was the last day of 6th grade. Jermy was waiting for his ride in the parking lot when he felt a light tap on his shoulder for the millionth time. "Tag you're it," KC said. "Dont you dare forget me Jermy Meshnik, or you'll never get to tag me back. You take care in Colorado." KC finished as she smiled then walked away.

YEARS LATER

KC is now a young adult taking a course in psychiatry at Stanford. KC was reading her book in the calm hallway when someone lightly touched her. "Tag, you're it," a voice said.
