A simple question with a complex conundrum of answers. Life is never simply good or bad, life goes deeper than basic answers. There is pain, envy, passion, and so much more than good or bad. Our world is more complex than basic terms. Love isn't one meaning, our society says that a man loving a woman is different than a man loving a man or a woman loving a woman. The definition of beauty isn't defined as everyone , but rather judgment of everyone. In today's society no one is ever good enough to fit the harsh and brutal mold. Can life simply be bad. We have the gift of technology and communication. I can travel to the other side of the world in ten hours. We ignore the beauty of nature. We have freedom to make our own lives. Can life simply be good? Life isn't merely one emotion. We experience pain, happiness, sorrow, grief ,and laughter often in the matter of a day. Can life simply be good or bad? As humans we often overlook the biggest ups and accentuate the tiniest lows. Why do we put ourselves in the position to get hurt ? You choose to love someone even though odds are you're going to get hurt ,because the opportunity for the happiness that comes with love outweighs the chance of hurt. The decisions we make in life are almost never logical, they have some form of emotion behind it. The bare basics of living require emotion. Try this, go one full day with no emotion. No smiling, laughing, crying, absolutely nothing but a blank mind and face. It's not easy. As humans our life is based around emotion. Can life simply be good or bad?
