Chapter 7

"You're so annoying" I laughed running outside with them.

"Mad, we were laughing too he is so stupid." Hazel said.

"I think this could work though" Cam confessed.

It was all laughs and play as we got to Hazel and I's street. Cam lived a street to the left and Matt lived a street to the right.

"Bye guys see you tomorrow" we said.

"Bye" they always stayed and watched us to make sure we got inside okay. It was kinda sweet but a little stalkerish.

"Maddison come over I need help with math" Hazel yelled through the window.

"Be right over" I yelled backpack and walking over.

We were almost done with homework when my phone started ringing.

"It's Taylor" I said.

"Put it on speaker" Hazel shot up.

"Hey Mad" he piped through the phone.

"Hey babe" I said.

"So...um, I really wanna take you on a proper date" he started.

"Because somewhere along the way that fake love became real" Hazel was trying to hold in a laugh.

"Um okay sure pick me up at 8?" I said.

"Ya...ya that would be great" I hung up and Hazel was bawling her eyes out.

"Oh my god" she screamed.

"Hazel I feel really bad" I said biting my nails.

"He took your virginity and left" Hazel stopped laughing.

I got really mad so I just started working again. I finished my homework and Hazel came over.

"Look Maddison I'm sorry I didn't mean it I shouldn't have brought it up" Hazel apologized. For the first time since Taylor did that I shed a tear. I quickly wiped it a away and finished curling my hair.

Taylor knocked on the door and as soon as I saw his face the tears threatened to spill over.

"Baby are you ok?" I fell to the ground silently crying. Taylor wrapped his arms around me and Hazel left. I've always been the type of person to keep my feelings locked in until they go away. I wrapped my arms around Taylor and he did the same.

"Shhhh baby it's ok now it's ok I'm here" he said rubbing my back.

He helped me up once I calmed down and kissed my forehead letting his lips linger there for a few minutes. "It's okay baby I promise I'm here now" he said.

He carried me out to his car and set me down in the passenger seat, kissing my temple. He jogged to the other side of the car.

We walked hand in hand down the beach in a lane of candles.

We got to a diner table set up with fruits and stuff. It was so sweet.

"Taylor I-I thank you" I sat down.

"Anything for you princess" he said sitting down across from me.

We laughed and talked and ate. He took my hand when we were done and led me to a little cliff were we watched the sunset and gazed at the stars. I could feel Taylor staring at me so I turned to him.

"Can I kiss you?" he asked.

"Will you still be here in the morning?" I asked.

"Forever and ever babe" he said.

I started to lean in and so did he. Our lips connected and it wasn't like any of the other kisses. My stomach let go of millions of butterflies.

Long story short, we had sex on a cliff.
