Chapter #09: BLACK MASK AND HOODED

Kelly's POV

I've been moving on since the day I got wasted. Edward's helping me a lot, making me busy with his shop. Yes my brother owns a shop, a pet shoppe technically. His a pet lover since he was little, and he's not going to throw any pets away. Even if it's outdoor pets or indoor.

That's what I like about him, so lovable.

I packed as I'm getting ready to go  home. And I can't help but keep glancing at Mia and Derek.

The two of them keeps flirting at each other, sucking each others faces and all lovey dovey every time they pass me.

The truth is... I'm still jealous of them. I hate Mia but now I hate Derek the most, for cheating at me and never once loved me.

I wanted to have fun right now, I want to forget. Forget of having the best enemy I've ever had, and being close to me cause she wanted to have my boyfriend who is now my ex-boyfriend. Forget of having a boyfriend who is also what I call right now a manwhore, because of wanting to have my best friend's pants.

I decided to confront them today at school but it turned out as a word war, thank God it didn't go just like other girls do, cat fight. I found out that Derek just wanted to get into my pants but intended to do it to Mia since I was so overwhelmed of my feelings towards him that he wanted to end his game,he began to have interest to Mia by wanting to have her. And Mia is also doing the same to Derek. By the day I confronted her at the cafeteria, she also said the same thing, they didn't even apologize for hurting my feelings.

They do look like a good couple but no one knows about their relationship is sucks. I really want to let out my anger out of them but I don't want a world war.

So I decided to avoid them, and decided to move on, to plan a new start and be freely single lady right now since the only important person who can help me are Emily and Eddie.

Since the day I told Edward about the stuff that Derek said, he burst out furiously. But I convince him to don't worry cause I'm trying to move on. And he agreed, he agreed cause he doesn't want me to get hurt again, and I'm thankful again for having the best brother in the world.

Right now I'm lying on my bed, while listening to music and reading magazines. I love reading magazines even when it's all about houses, landscape, countries and cultures. I don't know why I'm interested but I wish that one day I would make a magazine that people really loves reading. That might give them inspiration to travel and search for more about the world.

Right before I was enjoying the view of Hong Kong Disneyland in the magazine, my door burst open but no one was inside. It came out like a wind. Open by itself while no one was on the door, or maybe someone was on the door but it's there just like the movie "The Hallow man ".

I remove my headphone and sit up to check if someone was there. "Hello? ".

I called but was received in dead silence. Okay now I'm freaking out.

"Hello? "

Once again. No one response.

I made my way down stairs and search for something fishy, but stopped on my dead tracks when I spotted my front door open. It was 8 in the evening.

I'm sure I locked that door since I got here.

It's impossible for someone to open it, since I triple locked it when I came home from school. I know if it's Edward, cause he would call me at my cell if his home. But he's not here yet, he's job was overnight.

I watch as leaves filled in the living room. Wind pass blowing my hair. And strange noises was heard in the kitchen.

I turned around when suddenly the door in the front shut closed. I jump a little bit when it shut suddenly and I'm not even the one closing it.

The strange noise in the kitchen was heard again, ruffling sounds and some utensils that was scattered on the floor was heard.

I'm a bit scared right now.

Okay maybe alot scared...

As I turn the lights on, I saw a neat and clean, well arrange utensils, materials and anything that involves kitchen.

Like everything is untouched. But the question is, what is that sounds all about? I know for sure it came from here in the kitchen but why is everything didn't seem look like what I had expected to be?

Then I heard the television turning on. I jump a little and saw the news go on. I decided to ignore the fear a felt and just went up behind the TV to unplug it.

Once I unplugged it, I was met in dead silence and cold air.

Once again I felt shiver run down my spine. Goose bumps already showing. The pajamas I wear didn't help at all.

I slowly made my way to my room as I walk up stairs.

I open the door of my room and found my room was a mess. Everything is mess, every magazine was on the floor, closet is open and my boxes too.

Someone was here.

I knew that someone was here, but who could it be.

When I heard a footsteps behind me I turn around but it was too late when a handkerchief was place on my nose. I gasp and panicking but that was just a good move(note the sarcasm). I smell the chloroform and it gives me a headache as my eyes getting heavy.

I was limp by the arms of someone else. I tried to focus on opening my eyes so I can see who's this culprit but was met by a black mask and hooded person and then I black out.
