I don't wanna lose you
I don't wanna use you
Just to have somebody by my side
And I don't wanna hate you

I close my eyes for the last time, drowning in the tune of the music and the lyrics as I brush my hair. I dyed it blonde this time. The headphones were pretty much dugged into my ears which is pretty cool - that was the plan.

As I opened my eyes, I stared at myself in the mirror - headphones and all. I can still hear the pounding of the bed against the wall and the creaks. I shook my head and turned the volume a little louder.

There's a danger in loving somebody too much
And it's bad that you know it's your heart you can't trust
There's a reason why people don't stay where they are
Baby sometimes love just ain't enough

Guess that's a little better.

"So like, where's the eggs?"

I closed the fridge, the apple tight on my hand. I turned around, headphones still tight on my ears, and threw the fruit at her. The woman whom I'm still trying to familiarize fumbled with the catch but eventually manage to balance it out. She looked at the food a little repulsively. "Um, thanks."

"If you come back again maybe you can ask my dad for some eggs yourself." I say as I walked out the kitchen. "That was my breakfast but I guess you can have it."

"You aren't poor, are you?" She says as she, well, follows me. I grabbed my backpack from the couch and zipped it open just to see if I dugged my To Kill A Mocking Bird novel in there. Bingo.

"You're the third woman he has had in this house for the last three weeks." I say casually. "But you're the first to ask that."

"Preed...has have sex before?" She sounded so shocked. The fact that her hair is still screaming 'my Brazilian just got dominated' and she's standing half naked in the living room makes the situation almost too humiliating, it's actually funny.

"Bingo." I smile at her. Pretty much sure if my dad's a virgin, I might still have a functional family. I mean, I guess, I wouldn't exist but then my mom wouldn't have left either.

"Who are you?" She scowls, making creases appear on her pretty face. "I mean, if you're just some runaway Preed's took in, you really have no right to talk to me like that. I'm his girlfriend. I'm pretty special."

I snorted.

Wait that's rude.

I snorted again.

Runaway, really, Dad?

"Well, for the record, you're pretty much less of a ditz compared to his other girlfriends." What a load of crap - the second cheapskate was actually a lot more decent seeing as she never spoke to me in her underwear. Oh wait, she never spoke to me at all. Right.

"I'm his first girlfriend." She says as she crossed her arms. "Preed told me that he waited all his life trying to find the right woman. I'm pretty much his soulmate. So again, who the hell are you?"

I sighed. I turned around and took off my headphones. And smiled, "Just someone."

I didn't really waited for a response as I tightened my pony tail, grab my backpack and left the room. Behind me I can already picture out her snarl as she stared at me with glowering eyes.

Just another normal day for Lalisa.

"To start off the day everyone, I'd like to welcome a new student." Mrs. Lee smiles brightly.

I stared blankly at the pretty girl standing before me. She has beautiful fiery red hair and flamboyant brown almond eyes. She stands with a confident smile and a graceful posture. Pretty much soon, people will hover over her and throw their plastic smiles as they try to win her over. She's beautiful.

Which automatically make me want to avoid her.

"Annyeonghasseo," she says with a soft voice. "My name's Park Chaeyoung but you can call me Rosè. I'm from Australia and I hope you'll all treat me well."

One boy whistled. I roll my eyes and leaned back on my seat. The rest of the class chortled and talked amongst themselves as Mrs. Lee assigned the red head to sit next to the biggest jerk in class. She couldn't have a bigger problem knowing how the rest of the remaining hour, Jackson Wang would try his best to nail her at the end of the day. I ignored the noise and tried to focus on the lesson at hand.

The rest of the day almost went in a blur.

I'm starting to collect my things from my locker, going home sounded good right now. Pretty sure that ditz would be gone by now. If not, I can always play music and read. The novel was getting interesting anyway.

"Baby, I want to go to Taehyung-oppa's partyyyyy!"

I closed my locker and as I adjust the lock, I craned my neck to look at some girl cling to the biggest minx in my grade. I couldn't care any less as she pouted her lips, batted her eyelashes as she tries to win him over for some whatever thing she wants to attain. It's a little pathetic how she reminds me of every single girlfriend my father has had.

Desperate, clingy, and cheap.

But then boys like that, don't they? They like what they can have and the attention is almost too delicious. It's pretty much a life goal to have someone obssess over you 24/7.

So of course Jeon Jungkook isn't much different.

"Maybe some time, love." He laughs, his arm slung around her slim waist. His laugh was full of boyish charm mixed with a lil bit of mischievousness that really make me doubt how genuine could this guy be.

The girl whines. Jungkook apologises as he caress his thumb against the thin clothing on her waist.

But then his eyes drifted. As he grins, his baby brown eyes drifted to meet mine - which the blame is on me. I shouldn't have stared for too long. Damn.

His grin widens charmingly and it may looked pretty for a lot of people, it only felt easy to me.

And then he winked.

He chuckles at my expression, the way I furrowed my eyebrows and thinned my lips. Did I just got flirted by one of the biggest player I know? Excuse me, what? He brought back his attention on his girl and then they walked away. She seemed to whine louder seeing as she lost her oppa's attention. In reconciliation, Jungkook kissed her lips.

Something is off.

Of course, something is off. It feels weird seeing as he just flirted with me. That girl should know considering Jeon Jungkook's has the most unforgettable reputation in my grade. She realizes it, right?

That she's leeching off to the biggest homosexual guy in school?
