"wy?" she asked him nervously.

they both sat on the sand, looking off into the distance. they were thinking of many things, but one kept bothering the girl.

"hmm?" he replied, looking at her. she wasn't looking back, still staring at the view in front of them. the wind blew her hair and she slightly shivered.

"don't you think it's cold out here?" she looked at him, staring into those brown eyes she adored.

"are you cold?" he questioned her, raising his eyebrows. quickly shaking her head, she returned to looking into the distance.

"aw, you're so cute. come here." he wrapped his arm around her, bringing her closer to him. she snuggled into his chest and continued looking off.

"wy. you smell really frickin good." she murmured into his chest. he laughed and everything felt at peace.

"stella. you always smell really frickin bad."

she sighed before closing her eyes. something was bothering her and wyatt knew it.

"hey, what's wrong?" he asked her, worriedly. "you don't actually smell bad."

"it's not that. it's just," she paused for a second, afraid of how her words might affect their relationship. "what are we?"

two young teenagers, sitting together. both afraid of different things.

wyatt wanted to call her, his girlfriend. but he knew that people were going to react and say stuff to her. he knew that if he called her his girlfriend, one of his close friends might not like it.

stella was afraid of how her parents would react. modeling was her life and how she made income. dating wyatt might come in between that. she knew her parents wouldn't like that.

"i don't know. but what i do know is," wyatt stopped for a second. "i really love you."

stella stopped breathing for a second. she inhaled deeply. "i love you too."
