The day went by in a haze of happiness for me. Not even Luhan's obnoxious voice and irritating tendencies could ruin the joy of having my first friend. Sadly, I shared no common classes with Min and no one else approached me throughout the day. I suppose I should be happy that I made it through a whole day without being bullied!! Not gonna hold my breath on that one though... *Ring* Ha! I have officially made it through my first day of school unscathed!! Humming happily, I stood up and began gathering all of my belongings, shoving them quickly into my backpack. "Come OOONNN" Luhan whined, "I want to leave quickly, so we can go do something fun before my brain turns to boring mush from being in school too long!" "I told you to stay home, so stop complaining! It's your fault for ignoring me in the first place" I mumbled half-heartedly, I was still in my own little happy world, so I wasn't fully focusing on the conversation. "WHA? Well I never- How dare you say it's my fault! It's natural for me to do the opposite of what you say, which means its your fault that I'm here since you told me not to come in the first place." "Really" I scoffed, throwing my bag over my shoulder, "that's brilliant logic." Luhan frowned disapprovingly at the sarcasm in my voice, eyes practically murdering me where I stand. "Well if what you say is true, then follow me" I smirked, waltzing out of the classroom. "THAT'S NOT FAIR!!" Luhan hollered from the room. Life isn't fair you little menace...
"Haerin!!!" Jumping at the sound of my name, I turned to find Min running towards me, waving frantically. "Wait!!" she continued to scramble down the sidewalk in my direction, slowly getting closer. With a small smile, I waited patiently for Min to catch up, curious as to what she wanted. Finally reaching my side, she doubled over clutching her sides. "Just- moment....breath... talk" she panted incoherently, a pained expression flashing across her face. Nodding in understanding, I calmly glanced around, talking in the scenery as Min slowly regained her breath. "Okay I'm good! Whew you walk fast!! I've been chasing after you for a couple blocks now" she chuckled. "Sorry, if I had known I would've stopped. Guess I was in my own little world" I awkwardly laughed, nervously rubbing the back of my neck. "Oh that's okay! I needed the exercise anyways! Gotta stay fit for sports. Anyways, I was chasing you down to see if you wanted to hangout. Since you're new and don't know much about the area, I figured I could give you the low down of our lovely town and it's inhabitants." "Really?! That would be amazingly helpful!" I squealed excitedly, more ecstatic about the fact someone wants to spend their free time with me than finding out information about my new home. "Is that a yes?" Min wiggled her eyebrows teasingly, nudging me with her elbow. "Definitely!" I laughed, a toothy grin of happiness spreading across my face. I swear if my smile gets any bigger, something's gonna tear. "Oh, I just realized, your friend is missing....where'd he go?" Min glanced around in confusion. "I have absolutely no idea honestly. Last place I left him was back at the school, but for all I know he could be hiding out in the bushes, waiting for the perfect time to ambush us" I deadpanned. Min began laughing hysterically, but when she looked up to see my facial expression, she instantly stopped. "Wait, you're serious?" "Completely" I answered shortly, eyes shifting nervously for any signs of the honey-haired freak. "O-oh, well then, I suppose we should get moving and keep our eyes peeled." Nodding in agreement, we continued our journey, occasionally making small talk to pass the time. After a bit, we decided on hanging at my house, since Min was really curious to see the place Luhan originated from. Good thing we already seemed to be moving in that direction! It'd suck if we had to completely change our course just to get back to a place Luhan might be.....
"This is it!" I made a grand gesture encompassing the whole house. Mouth dropping in awe, Min leaned her head back to take in the whole house. "I love it! So vintage!!" she squealed, finally coming to her senses. "The inside is even better" I smiled, ushering her through the front door. Like any proud new home owner, I showed my guest around the house. Min seemed to take it all in with enthusiasm, clapping ecstatically after every room she saw. The tour finally coming to an end, we tiredly shuffled back to the livingroom, plopping onto the couch in exhaustion. "HAAAEERRIIINNN!!!!" A screech suddenly echoed through the house. "Why?!?!" I whined, throwing my head back in exasperation. "What's going on?!" Min freaked, head swiveling frantically while she tried to locate the source of the noise. "Luhan came home" I whined, throwing an arm over my eyes. "That's right! I'm back and you better watch yourself. I was stuck at that school for HOURS!!! Do you know how much torture that was? Unable to leave a room, no one to talk to and nothing to do? Just you wait, payback won't be pleasant" he hissed, stomping up the stairs to who knows where. An awkward silence proceeded Luhan's angry departure. Min just sat on the couch, opening and closing her mouth in shock. "I'm sure everything will be just fine" a boy suddenly appeared beside Min on the couch. "WHO'RE YOU?!?!?!"
HAHA!! I finally got past my brain block and was able to complete this chapter. I told you I'd do it Ave!!! Mwahahaha!! So what do all ya'll think? It was a pretty boring chapter, but I just wanted to get to the part of the new character XD Who do you guys think our new friend will be? Hehehe.... Well, 'til next time!! Astalabyebye 😄
