Chapter 16

Cameron

I heard the door slam behind her.

"Daniel, Tina, Timothy, Helena, Jacob, and Penelope meet me outside my house." I only sent the message out to them and within minutes they were at my house.

"Aqua went to the Blood river to rescue Ellie and Tyler. She can't do this alone. Please help us, me, to rescue them with her." They nodded. "Daniel and Tina, take the right side of me, Helena and Penelope, take the left side. Jacob and Timothy will head straight on with me." I point at places on the map before we changed into a our wolves. We head strict towards the Blood River, only a couple minutes behind Aqua.

We hid behind bushes, staying quiet as we watched Aqua growl at the witches as they pushed a naked Ellie and Tyler towards her. She growled at them and told them to change into clothes and leave. They grabbed the back pack and took off, not noticing the rest of us.

"Little Aqua, we've heard so much about you. From your parents to Hank, your name has come up many times. I, actually, never thought the Moon goddess would actually be in favor of a abomination like you." I dug my nails into the ground as the witches circled Aqua, laughing and taunting her.

"Oh.. silly wolves." We all yelped as the witches threw us down at Aqua's feet with their magic. "Let's have fun. What about we make those dreams come true?" Aqua took off right before my mind went completely black.

I watched in horror as our wolves took after Aqua, growling and howling. I watched as I loomed over my mate, biting at her, killing her. My body was given back to me as I cried, returning to my human form holding Aqua's wolf in my arms. Her white fur was covered in red.

"No.. No.. Baby I'm so sorry.. please come back to me.." I watched as the light faded from her eyes. We all turned on the witches tearing them apart.

"Is she going to be okay!?" I stood up as Nellie and other doctors from our pack exited the medical room. Nellie sighed and sat me down.

"It's a touch and go situation. Don't get your hopes up. Now go home and rest, you've been through a lot." I whimpered as I left Aqua in the small pack hospital. I walked in my house, immediately grabbing a beer out of the fridge. I drank like there was no tomorrow, sinking down on the kitchen floor, crying. What if I killed her?

The next couple of days were a blur. I never left the hospital, watching as my pack members flooded in and out. I could care less about my pack right now, I just wanted, no I needed my mate to be okay.

I paced outside her room before Nellie came back out smiling.

"She's awake. Go see her." I rushed in, hugging Aqua.

"I'm so sorry, they had control of me, I'm sorry. I love you so much, god I'm sorry." I cried and cried as Aqua held me in her arms.

"Baby, I'm alright. I'm alive. I should be out in a couple of days, I promise I'm okay. I love you." I nodded ad she wiped my tears. I filled her in what happened after and how the pack has been since she's been hospitalized. Soon she was asleep.

I've always known Aqua was beautiful. Her light tan skin matched perfectly with her long black hair and blue eyes. She had semi-long eyelashes, and although she was a fighter, and an active being, she had an average body. These past couple of days, when her life was on the line, made me realize that I couldn't live without this women sitting in front of me. I truly love her with all my heart, and I would stop at nothing to keep her safe. I am so thankful that the moon goddess gave me this wonderful beauty as my mate, as my wife, as my lover, and my best friend. She is my everything.

"Alpha are you sleeping here tonight?" I nodded at the nurse. She handed me a pillow and blanket and I slept on the couch in the room. My mind was filled with Aqua, never straying far from her.

Aqua

'Aqua.. dear it's me.' I hummed softly as I looked at the glowing figure in front of me.

'Moon goddess?' She nodded smiling, her human form taking place.

'When we first met, you were just a baby. I was the nun wh gave you to John, which I'm sorry by the way. He'll rot in hell.' I giggled smiling.'We met again at the hotel, I was the person who gave you the room. And then at your wedding, and now here. But I never left your side.' She embraced me and I wrapped my arms around her.

'Cameron truly loves you.'

'I know.. and I love him too. I understand the witches made him do what he did, I forgive him. I was so scared that I was going to lose him by dying.' The goddess smiled.

'Let me tell you some of your future. You and him will grow old together, your children taking over the pack, and when the time is right, hand in hand, you will die together. Then both of you will come with me, reunited with those you've lost. Now return to him, to your pack, they need you.'

I woke from my dream and quickly pulled the wires out of my arms.

"Cameron! Let's go." He sleepily questioned me then yelled at me to get back in bed as I dragged him out of the hospital. I breathed in the fresh air and was surrounded by my pack. I gave hugs to everyone smiling. Then I looked at Ellie and Tyler.

"I'm sorry I haven't been there.." She tightly hugged me.

"Don't worry, I know things have been uhm.. busy." She giggled tapping my mark and I blushed bright red.

"Someone's been busy too." I looked down at her small baby bump. "Ahhh I'm going to be an aunt!!" I giggled and hugged her again. I turned to Tyler, grabbing his ear and pulling him down so he was my height.

"Tyler I swear to the moon goddess that if anything happens to my sister and her babies I will castrate you." I let him go then hugged them both. "I love you guys."

Cameron hugged me tightly and kissed me with me passion that he ever has before.

"I love you." I smiled up at him.

"I love you too my little fighter." He said to me and hugged me tighter. That was how I earned my nickname, The Alpha's Fighter.
