Ch.2 Xiumin's search

Time jump

"I would love to hang out more"

Day 2.        

1:43 PM

Xiumin was going for a walk outside of the coffee shop where he met Chen at first. He never got his name or anything, so everything was a mystery to him. That's when he saw Baekhyun and another tall figure. He remembered Baekhyun was Chen's friend, so he walked up to them.

"Excuse me", he called. Baekhyun turned to him, giving his cute smile.

"Yeah", he asked.

"Do you know where your friend is... I'd like to talk to him", Xiumin asked.

Baekhyun looked at the other man, who was also smiling brightly. Xiumin assumed the two were in love.

"If anything, he should be at school, we are very serious about it", the giant explained.

"Okay", Xiumin responded. Then, he contemplated them for a second.

"Then why aren't you guys at school", he asked.

"Channie, you got us busted", Baekhyun said pouting. Xiumin tilted his head in confusion.

"We are on a break as of right now", Chanyeol lied. The two then walked off, leaving Xiumin alone.

2:10 P.M

Chen got out of the school grounds, basically alone. Suho had his boyfriend and Kyungsoo had his boyfriend. Kris and Kai we're the two. Sehun, being nice, decided to stay single to stay with Chen.

"Hey, we are gonna go to the ice skating rink, wanna join us", Suho asked.

"YEAH", we heard from meters away. There was Baekhyun and Chanyeol, who had just come back from whatever they were doing.

Suho smiled at Chen, who looked somewhat upset.

"Are you okay", Suho asked.

If Chen was being honest, he was somewhat jealous. Baekhyun, Suho, Kyungsoo, and Sehun can get with people so easily, and he's been single since middle school. However, he never wanted the group to worry about him.

"I'm fine, just tired, school is a bitch", Chen lied. "I want to go", Sehun cried.

"Alright then, it's settled, I'll pay for everyone", Kai offered.

"Thanks Kai, we'll pay you back", Baekhyun responded.

Chen then began to walk home.

The rest of the group stood there, talking about plans.

Sehun looked all around him to see a couple.

"GOD DAMN IT", he yelled.

2:30 P.M

Chen walked slowly and sadly kicking stones along the way. As he continued doing that, he accidentally kicked someone else.

"Ow, hey", the guy cried. "My God, i-im sorry", Chen stuttered.

The guy looked at him and noticed his sadness.

"It's fine, is something wrong", he asked.

"Not really, I can deal with it", Chen replied.

The guy nodded for a few seconds. "Well, I'm Tao, here's my number if you need anything", he offered.

He handed Chen a card and went on his way.

After ten minutes, (2:40 P.M), he got to a park where he would go to let off steam.

Xiumin happened to also love going to that park. Despite his age, Xiumin was a child at heart. His real age was 29, but his mental age was 10. When he got to the park, he noticed Chen.

Flashback

Xiumin was none other than a fifteen year old with his parents. He was sad because he felt like no one will ever love him.

"Someone will definitely love you, and when you find that person, if he or she is the one you're looking for, then you'll probably stay together forever", his mom said.

"Your mother is right, that is how we became in love, it may have taken some time, but once we had it, it was everlasting", his dad added.

End of flashback

Xiumin took in a big breath and smiled. He walked up to Chen almost hesitantly. Chen noticed him and turned away.

"Hey, it's me again", Xiumin greeted.

"Seriously, our first meeting you nearly killed me", Chen reminded rudely.

"Hey, you said it wasn't my fault", Xiumin responded.

Chen let out a big sigh. Xiumin sensed his anger.

"I'm sorry, are you angry right now", Xiumin asked. He sat down next to Chen on the bench that he happened to be sitting on.

"Yeah, but I don't want to talk about it", Chen replied.

"Well, you know, if you hold it in, it'll only beat you up more", Xiumin explained. He turned over to the playground.

"What's your name", Xiumin asked.

"I'm Chen, and you are", Chen asked, a little slowly.

"I'm Xiumin", and then he grab Chen's arms," come with me?"

" A wae", Chen asked.

Xiumin stared at him with puppy eyes that Chen couldn't say no to. Chen sighed and then followed. The two went to the park.

"Come on Chen, let's have some fun", Xiumin cried.

After ten minutes, Chen finally played along with Xiumin. They took turns running after each other, They played a game of Special Agents, and then they played on the swing set.

6:00 P.M

The two were now tired and out of breath, sitting in front of a tree.

"Thanks for the good time Xiumin, I really needed that", Chen thanked.

"Of course, there's enough negativity in this world, I want to give some positivity to you", Xiumin explained.

Chen got up and dusted himself off.

"Well, I got to head home, my friends are probably wondering where I am", Chen explained.

"Would you like me to walk you", Xiumin asked.

"No, I live in a dangerous neighborhood, I don't want you to get hurt", Chen replied.

"Oh okay", Xiumin said sadly.

"But if anything, I would love to hang out more", Chen offered.

Xiumin's eyes lit up brightly.

"Me too, would you like my number", Xiumin asked.

"Yeah, I'll give you mine too", Chen cried.

Both men exchanged numbers and then went on their way.

"Bye Xiumin!"
"Bye Chen!"
