Ch.3 The Reveal

"You're how old?"

Day 3

11:22 A.M

Chen woke up the next day in a much more happy mood. He walked out to see Baekhyun, Kyungsoo, and Suho with other guys.

"Who the hell are you guys", Chen asked.

"This is Chanyeol, he is Kai, and that is Kris", Baekhyun explained.

"Nice to meet you Chen, I hope we can be friends", Chanyeol said. Kai flashed a smile and Kris laughed at Chen's messy hair.

"Why are you laughing, I just woke up", Chen asked somewhat angry. Kris only smiled more at those words.

Kris has a crush on Chen, but he is also dating Suho. He's been a player since he started puberty and he still is. Chen began to notice this and scrunched his eyebrows, signaling Kyungsoo that something is wrong. Kyungsoo realised this and hopped off of Kai's lap. Baekhyun also began to notice and signaled Suho, and the four of them got into the room.

"So... What now", Chanyeol asked.

"I don't know, we just wait here", Kai suggested.

Back in the room the four boys were somewhat arguing.

"What the fuck are you talking about, he loves me and me only", Suho cried.

"It doesn't seem like it", Kyungsoo responded. Suho looked at Baekhyun for a response.

"I don't know, don't look at me", Baekhyun cried.

"Come on Suho, he was practically fucking me with his eyes", Chen cried.

Suho stared at Chen, about to cry already.

"Okay, fine, I'm done", Suho said.

"What do you mean", Baekhyun asked.

"I'm done with this friendship", Suho cried, walking out of the door.

"No, Suho, wait", Chen cried, running after him.

The trio ran to see Suho walk out, Kris behind him.

"Stop him, you dumbass piece of shit", Kyungsoo called.

Kai looked at Suho and back at Kyungsoo.

"I'm... I'm sorry", Kai said. He then got up and walked out. As Kris shut the door, he smiled at Chen once again.
Baekhyun looked at Chanyeol, who got up and hugged him.

"I'll talk to him for you", he suggested

"Thank you", Baekhyun responded.

4:20 P.M

Xiumin reached for his phone after he heard the buzzer. He was at work right now, so he checked around the area to make sure he was safe. When he realised that the coast was clear, he pulled out his phone.

His best friend, Tao, had texted him.

After that, he received a text from Chen.

Hey, how r u?

I'm not doing good, can we meet somewhere?

Okay, where do you want to meet?

The park? Is that ok

5:00 P.M

Chen finally arrived at the park and he saw Xiumin, who was waiting at a park bench for him. He ran up to him and hugged him, Xiumin responding by tightening the hug.

"My God I missed you", Xiumin cried. He waited for a response, but didn't get any.

After a few seconds, he felt sobs come out Chen as his body pumped his tears.

"Chen are you okay?"

"No, I don't know why my life has to suck."

"What's wrong"

"My friend Suho is mad at me and refuses to talk to me, and now he wants to move out!"

Xiumin continued to listen to Chen's entire story. When it was over, he stared at Chen, confused as to what to do. Then, he finally thought of what to say.

"Look, if anything, all you need to do is try to prove it to him"

Chen stared at him for a little bit.

"Okay", he cried.

Then, Tao just so happened to appear.

"Hey, Xiumin, my brother", Tao cried.

"U-um, hi Tao", Xiumin said startled.

Chen looked at the two talking, remembering Tao from yesterday.

"What's a 29 year old like you doing here", Tao asked, revealing the truth.

Chen's eyes got really wide. Xiumin noticed this, and stared at Tao pleadingly.

Even though he was legal, he was scared of how his friends would react. He knew that his friends would give him shit for it.

"I think I'm gonna go", Tao said, realising the negative energy.

As Tao left, Chen began to become red.

"He said you're how old?"

Xiumin stayed quiet, knowing that he had messed up.

"ANSWER ME"

"I'm 29"

Chen looked away, and hesitantly, looked back at him. He couldn't believe his ears.

"You're how old?"

"I'm sorry"

The silence between them was really hard to endure.

Chen began to think, and he thought hard. Even though I could get shit for this, he has been there for quite a while now. He's also been helping me the three days we've met. Can I forget him?

Xiumin stared at the tears falling out of Chen's eyes. He felt like these tears were his fault.

"I still will love you", Chen finally said.
