Gearing Up

Butterfly effect update: Matt decided to go back with Jay and Mike.

"Fine, I'll go," Matt says.
"Okay, let's see about the girls," Mike says.
"You saying Chris is a girl?" Jay asks sarcastically.
"What? Oh, no."
"There's no way Jess will go," Matt says.
"Yeah, she's hurt too bad," Jay agrees.
"Okay then, I'll get Sam," Mike says walking to her room.

Mike

Mike walks to Sam's room. He looks inside to see MacMillan, with an angry look on his face. He's about to drop in, that's when he sees him smack Sam in the face. He busts in, punching MacMillan in the jaw.

Butterfly effect update: MacMillan hit Sam, Mike ran in and punched him.

"Don't touch her!" He yells.
"Do you have any idea who you just hit?" MacMillan asks getting up.
"Yeah, an asshole," Mike responds.
He walks out of the room, slamming the door shut.

"You okay?" Mike asks her examining her face.
"Yeah, thanks Mike," she says hugging him.
"Listen, we've devised a plan."
"What kind of plan?"
"We're going back," he says with a worried look.
"Why?!"
"Look, Josh doesn't deserve to roam the earth as a wendigo."

Jeremy

Jeremy got closer to Beth's room, seeing her wiping away her tears. He walks in, hugging her.
"Why'd this have to happen?" She asks still sniffling. "Both of my siblings."
"I'm sorry, Beth. I'm here okay?"
"Okay, thanks Jay," she says pulling to her chest.
"You're strong for being in a hospital," he says sarcastically.
"Well, that's why they call me the man," she mutters.
"Wait, what?"
"I'm kidding!"

"Okay, I'm gonna tell you this. Promise me you won't freak out?"
"What is it?" She asks concerned.
"We were gonna go back for Josh."
"But, he's a wendigo," she says starting to tear up.
"We were gonna.... Just put him out of his misery," he says scratching the back of his neck.
There was a long pause, before Beth broke the silence.

"I want to go," she says sternly.
"Beth, I can't lose you too," he says grabbing her shoulders.
"He's my brother! Jeremy I deserve to go."
"Okay, I guess so," he says.

Matt

Jess was knocked out from the gas. Matt couldn't even get her to wake up, so he told the nurse to tell her once she woke up.

He decided to tell Ashley, she was shocked at his decision. She told him she wanted to go aswell. He nodded, and headed to Chris's room. Jeremy and Mike were already there.

He walked in, instantly hearing Chris's pleads for them not to go.
"Guys, you can't go back!" He says.
"We have to, Chris," Jay says.
"He put us through all that emotional damage!" He says.
"We can't just let him live as that fucking thing!" Mike says.
"Fine, go."
"Are you gonna go?" Matt asks.
"I'll think about it."
"Ashley is going," Matt says in a tempting voice.
"I'll pack my things," he says getting up.

In the lobby, everyone was getting geared  up and ready to go. Jess walked in, on crutches.
"Hey," she says walking up to Matt. "Come back safe!" She continues kissing him.
"We need to get going, Matt," Jay says.
"I'll see you soon," he says to Jess.

They hear footsteps, then they see MacMillan and the same officer from before.
"MacMillan!" Mike says angry.
"Listen, I know I've been a dick. I'm sorry but I know I can be of help to you kids," he says.
"You don't know how to fight these things," Matt says.
"I can get you any weapon you need," he says.
