Lost Stars

Ash, Matt, and Beth

"Okay, let's go," Beth hesitantly says with a tear dropping down her cheek.
Ashley opens the door, and she steps out into the icy cold wilderness.

Matt soon follows, and Beth follows him. She gives one last look of grief to Sam, who sits against the rocky wall. She exits, carefully stepping down the mountain.

Jay

Josh's eyes, they were just as blue as they were when he was still human. It was almost as if Jeremy could see past them, into his soul. As the wendigos all left, Josh soon followed and gave Jeremy a window of time to escape.

He ran off, the snow hitting him as hard as Beth would when he was a jerk. That somehow gave him the momentum to keep going. He ran back inside the mine, eventually reaching the room where him, Sam, and Beth were split up. He ran in a room, seeing a trail of blood leading to a familiar face.

Ash, Matt, and Beth

"It'll be okay Beth, I know it," Matt says trying to comfort her.
"We just left her there to die," she responds.
"She's tough as nails," Ashley says. "Don't worry."

As the trio walks, they hear a buzzing noise. They look up to see the helicopter.

Matt flails his arms around, getting the pilot's attention.
"Stay right there," they hear from the copter.
"Thank god!" Ash yells in relief.
"Where's Jeremy?" Beth asks looking around.
"Shit! We have to find him," Matt exclaims.

As the pilot lands, Matt explains the situation.
"Either you guys can go and die, or get on and live," the pilot says.
"I'm staying and looking!" Beth says.
"Me too," Matt agrees.

Ashley looks at the two, then back at the helicopter. Does she leave? Or look? You choose.

Jay

"Sam? Sam?" Jay say shaking her.
He checks her pulse.
"Still alive," he mutters. "I'm not gonna leave you here."
He picks her up over his shoulder, and he gets her out of the mountain the way he came, seeing the helicopter's lights.
"Thank Christ!" He exclaims.
