Chapter 1
Qudrat (Kud-Rat)
In just two months, summer will be over and school will start again. Qudrat can't believe that he will be starting his last year of high school. The boy is so happy that he is one step closer to be leaving this hell hole, his school. Qudrat cannot wait to get into his horticulture program and dedicate his entire life to nature. But alas that will have to wait one more year as the boy hasn't graduated yet..
"Qudrat! Hey! Listen to me! Wake Up!" An annoying voice pulls Qudrat out of his very deep thoughts. Qudrat opens his eyes to see a blob of blue blocking the sunlight that he was enjoying. It takes the boy a moment to realize that he does not have his glasses on. Qudrat feels around for his glasses and just when he was about to put them on, his friend interrupts him.
"Finally, why wouldn't you wake up? I have been trying to get your attention for the past five minutes?" Matthew yells at Qudrat, almost getting in his face.
Qudrat puts his glasses on, without answering his stupid friend. When the boy finally begins to see clearly; all he sees is the dark indigo blue hair and he bursts out laughing. The teenager laughs so hard that his eyes start to tear up.
"What the... hell did you do with your hair!" Qudrat tries to question his friend but barely manages to ask a question because of how hard he was laughing.
Qudrat looks up to meet the deep chocolate eyes of his best friend, Matthew but is unable to do so because they were covered with black sunglasses that made him look very attractive despite the blue hair.
"I was trying to dye them black... um... again but I had the wrong box. Instead of black it was... um... indigo blue. And stop laughing at me! It's not funny!" Matthew informs his best friend of the situation from this morning.
As Matthew was telling his story not once did Qudrat stop laughing and it was starting to piss him off. The blue haired boy already feels embarrassed enough and he clearly does not need his best friend, boyfriend or whatever the hell he was to be making fun of him. Matthew can feel his face burning bright red and Qudrat's laughter was clearly not helping. It isn't until a minute later when his sort of friend stops laughing and starts to speak again.
"Okay." Qudrat starts but he burst out into laughter a second time. Matthew waits patiently for the idiot to stop laughing again.
"Okay, I am done now. The hai-," He starts laughing again.
"It looks you bathed in-," more laughter.
"Smurf blood," by this point the laughter had gotten so bad that his idiot of friend was now wheezing for air.
Matthew glances down at his clothes and rolls his eyes. The blue haired boy didn't even realize that he had been wearing a dark blue hoodie with blue jeans and blue converse. The boy now understood the statement about smurf blood.
Qudrat still hadn't stopped laughing and was now starting to resemble a dying cow. Matthew did not have the patience to deal with Qudrat. The blue haired boy came to the realization that he wasted his time coming to visit his friend and should've just stayed in his bed, wallowing in self-pity. That is where the boy was now heading. He cannot deal with Qudrat laughing at him especially because of the feelings that he has for him.
"Wait! Don't go; I won't laugh anymore. I swear I got it all out of my system." Qudrat says quickly once he sees his friend whom he has a massive crush on, leaving.
"Look I am sorry but even with the blue hair how the hell do you manage to still look like you walked out of a magazine cover?" Qudrat tries to convince his friend into staying and not going home.
