"I tried to be someone, I lied to be someone else for you"
Zach was MIA.
Nobody could find him and no one could see where he went.
You would think he was this shy guy from California, he is, but he's very masochistic.
The whole band went to the hotel they were staying in.
Penelope was alone in her room.
You would think her soul would be full of joy or excitement, but she is starting to realize this band life wasn't for her.
She cried for hours not wanting to leave out of her room.
The poor girl was curled up in her bed covered with her silky white sheets.
The rapper G-eazy invited her to the party but she didn't want to even go. She'd think about the pros and cons.
Maybe she should ask the boys if they could come along.
Penelope was too weak to even get herself up from all the crying and the sobbing.
The hotel door swung open, as Penelope looked back at the door, it was Mikey.
He slowly closed the heavy hotel door behind him and walked towards her.
The blinds of the window were closed, it was completely dark in the room.
Mikey sat on the corner of her bed and admired at the depressed girl.
"Hey bug" he whispered.
Penelope kept sniffling and she let out a big sigh.
"How did you even come in? I didn't give anyone a key" she whispered.
"I know, I asked for another one downstairs" he half smiled.
Penelope scoffed and wiped her tears from her wet cheeks.
"Penelope I know you don't want to see anyone's face here, but let me say, you really beat that girl's ass, I'm impressed" he giggled.
Penelope chuckled and shook her head.
"Thanks man" she smiled.
Mikey let out a big sigh and stared at the pure girl.
"You don't deserve this P, no one does. And I know what you feel" he said.
"But I'm afraid to tell you that Zach defiantly never had a girl like you. I knew that kid for years. You were the only girl that actually kept him in check. Zach would really talk about you nonstop. I'm not defending him, but his ex really had him around her finger. Him and his ex girlfriend were a disastrous fucking mess. She was very diminished, he was very laid back. They were the most toxic couple time and the rest of the band thought about," Mikey said.
"Zach is right across the hall, pissed at himself. The reason he's the way he is, was because of his ex girlfriend. Once upon a time, Zach and I were at a friend's party. Zach saw Lani, and they both talked throughout the party, so he fell hard for her. They went out all the time. She'd get pissed when we had rehearsal and he'd skipped the bands rehearsal for her. She would do cocaine and acid all the time, he'd follow her steps, but he never snorted coke, he'd only do acid .... a lot. Lani would sometimes hit him for no fucking reason, and she would be in control a lot. Yeah, he was a fucking idiot, but because he thought that was love" Mikey said.
Penelope looked confused.
"Then why the fuck was he stupid enough to be with someone like that?" Penelope asked.
