Winter 2020
It was a cold winter afternoon, and the snow was falling. The pavement was all covered with snow, and everytime someone sets foot on it, it submerges a few centimeters down.
He was at the park, sitting down on the bench while wearing his black hood over his head and letting the time pass by.
Everytime he breathe, the cold drifts down to his lungs and scatters throughout his body. He kept his hands together while holding something in between. The snow kept on falling over him and it made his figure more and more distinct since his attire is the opposite color of the snow.
Everything was peaceful and quiet...
As the snow falls down, he saw a woman passes right in front of him. Her long ebony colored hair falls softly right at her back. Her long black trenchcoat covers her whole body. Her deep set of amethyst eyes stares at distance. She looks up and let the snow falls right into her face.
" What a very nice snow it is. The coldness of it melts right into my skin." She said.
" Hmmmm? "
The guy said quietly and curiously after a woman's voice as soft as silk. Then he tilted his head upward a little while the shadows casted over his face preventing her from identifying him. The long black fringe of his hair hangs infront of his face. He looked at her and stared at her for a while, watching her curiously.
" Because I've been witnessing this white snow from my thousand years of existence. "
She looked at him. Her eyes met his.
" I've been here since before your forefathers set foot on this land. " She said briefly.
He gently looked up at her and slowly revealed what he looked like. Cold, blue and seemingly innocent eyes stared back at her doll-like amethyst eyes. Then he smiled slightly but kept it hidden. Almist half of his face was still covered by his fringe, but he didn't bother to move it from where it was. He stayed still and kept quietly while staring at her.
" May I know your name? What do you want? "
She asked the guy sitting at the bench right infront of her. His cold blue eyes locked up to hers. As she examined him, he looks so innocent.
But don't trust humans by the way they look, many of them betrayed your kins.
She thought herself.
*sigh*
He gently and slowly look away, not wanting to answer any of her questions, then gave a deep but quick sigh.
As the snow quickly falls, the blackness of her hair was covered by the whiteness of the snow.
" You looked lonely? Are you waiting for someone? " She asked the guy.
He breathes heavily and didn't say anything. He tried to keep himself warm by rubbing his palms together along with the use of his breath to create some heat.
" Oh never mind. You seemed busy. Bye for now. "
She walked again. Letting the snow trace the path where she must go. Vanishing from afar all you could hear was the sound of snow winds from her direction.
He watched her as she slowly walked away and vanish. He felt the cold getting more and more intense.
" Ugh! This.. isn't good..! Hnngh! "
He cuddled and curled to try to make more heat, then he looked back to where she disappeared worriedly and whispered to himself.
" I hope..she's okay.. Unngh! P-please be c-careful.. "
He grinned his teeth, hoping that the cold will lessen.
