Chapter Five - A New Beginning

Noriko's POV

"Ugghhh!"

"Hmmmm?" Who is that??
I opened my eyes.. There's something heavy.. I tried to focus my vision to the heavy 'object' beside me..

There I saw a man with black hair and seems like he's snoring his life while sleeping in my arm.. Then the memories from last night flood my mind.. I smiled softly while caressing his short hair.. I slowly fixed his fringe off his face.. He sure is handsome, even while he's asleep..

I was in awe when suddenly.. "Like the view?" I was startled by his voice.. He chuckled then yawned.. "Good morning, my princess.." He greet.. "Good morning too.." I replied..

He is still the same.. Still calling me princess even though I'm no royalty.. Just an average vampire..

"What do you want to eat Noriko?" He asked..

"Hmmmmm.. I want a salisbury steak.." I answered him.. Salisbury steak is my favorite human food..

"Coming right up! Do you have all the ingredients?" He started to get up.. Then he lend me his hand so that I could stand up..

Still gentleman as always..

"Ah yes, it's all in the kitchen.." I nodded..

We started to walk straight to the kitchen.. He is busy cooking our breakfast while I'm busy staring at him.. I still couldn't believe that he is right infront of me.. My last memory of him was full of regret that I wish to forget.. I'm useless in the past..

"Two Salisbury steaks done.." He said with a smile.. "Be careful it's still hot.."

"Hmmmm! It looks good Killionix! Now it's time for the taste test.. Let's see who is the better cook, you or mom?" I began to cut the meat and pop it inside my mouth.. It's sure is hot.. I blow the food inside my mouth to cool the meat.. Then began to chew it.. The meat sure is juicy..

"вкусно!!" I exclaimed..

"I'm glad you liked it my princess.. So, who's the better cook? Me or Aunt Lucinda?" He asked..

"Hmmmmm.. It's still Mom's cooking.. No one can beat her dishes.. But yours is delicious..Ahhh, I miss her cooking.." I began to think of my mom.. I miss her..

"Awww and here I thought I could beat her now.. Ahahaha.. Aunt Lucinda sure is an undefeatable opponent, even though she's gone.." He slumped in the dining table while staring at me.. "No one can beat a mom's forte.. Remember that 'KiMi'.." I explained.. Laughing..

"Arghhh, don't call me by that name.. As if Aunt Lucy is still here scolding me for getting you into trouble.." He scratched his head in annoyance.. I miss those times.. Whenever Killionix ask me to sneak outside with him without Mom's consent.. The we get into trouble.. Mom would always scold him then call him 'KiMi' (Killionix Millanov for short, his full name)..

"Ahahahaha.. And I know mom will shook her head if she finds out you're a vampire now.. You're stuck with me forever.." I laugh..

"Well, I'm glad to be with you forever.." He smiled.. Then he leaned to give me a peck on my lips..

I blushed lightly at his gesture.. He already have the courage to do that.. He was a shy-type guy before..

"Eat it all up before it gets cold.." He told me..

I eat the food while he is busy staring at me..

"You know, if staring could melt anything, I would be gone now.." I told him..

"Ah, I'm sorry.. I still couldn't believe that you're infront of me.. That you're here with me.." He began to walk towards me.. When he's infront of me, he hugged me tight.. "I'm glad you turned me into a vampire.. Now I won't leave your side.. I will protect you with my life.." A vampire's oath..

I hugged him back.. "With this gift of immortality that I bestowed to you, may you never wither.. This is our new beginning.."
