Chapter Two - The Name

The Mysterious Woman's POV

*Another heart slows down its beat*

I felt alarmed.. I started to slowdown..

" Whose heart is it? Could it be--? "

Like a wind through the grass, I hurried back to owner of that heart..

Normal POV

He felt weak.. Every second that passed by makes him weaker.. He tried to stand up from where he was, but before he could set his other foot, he fell to the cold ground.. He shivered and struggled to get up, and started straddling away.. He didn't let go of the object he was holding no matter how much his body was shaking..

" N-no *cough* must n-not *cough* b-break.. "

Before he could take another step, he fell and kneel on the ground struggling.. He was hyperventilating and didn't know what to do.. After a few moments he fell on the cold-covered floor and slowly passed out.. But before he loses consciousness, he notived a figure running toward him.. After that he fainted..

*The Mysterious Woman's POV*

As I got back, I see him on the ground unconscious.. I touched his face..

So cold!

" Urgh~ he's colder than I've imagined.. Why is he still here even though he's already this cold.. What should I do? "

My amethyst eyes suddenly turned into bloody red..

" Lame human.. What makes you stay here for so long? Your body cannot resist this cold.. "

Without second thoughts, I carried him effortlessly and proceed to a place where he could regain his normal temperature.

He continue to shiver, for the cold embraces him tight and is not letting go easily. He was asleep but his mind is wide awake.

" No-riko Mat-sumo-to.. Urghh~ "

He muttered under his breath.

" Noriko? He knew my name? I don't remember meeting him.. "

I asked myself..

He gritted his teeth and unknowingly, he grasped my clothes..

" Hey! Calm down, you're ruining my coat.. "

I told him but he still didn' let go

" We're almost there.. Hang on! "

I hasten my speed until I could see my house..
