(So... Since I am too lazy to go back to my first chapter, and edit this in, and I know some people don't read descriptions, I have put this disclaimer here. I do not own OHSHC, I don't own the characters affiliated with it, nothing of it is mine. I just used my own characters ((Scarlet and Mitsunari)). Just something I thought needed to be said. Now on with this chapter!)
It was dark, and raining terribly. The winter dance was upon us. I didn't even want to go, but Haruhi insisted it'd be fun, and a great way to meet people. Because... You know... People just LOVE me. No. No they didn't. I'm ninty percent sure if they could, they would murder me.
I looked at the front steps of the building before I sighed. I spent all this time getting ready, so what was the point in going home? As I walked into the building I was able to notice my reflection on certain objects. I looked... Different from how I usually did. My hair was up in a chignon bun, my make up was light so I still looked natural, just with a faint glow. My dress was, contrary to my name, midnight blue with silver trim. Haruhi greeted me, and took me to the main area.
It was gorgeous, nicely decorated and all. However, I felt... Out of place. I always felt out of place, and that wouldn't change. Haruhi eventually ordered me to mingle and I did try. It was all going so well.. Until.. I saw him. Kyoya... I knew that bastard backwards and forwards.
"Oh, you showed up..." He noted looking me over, but I saw a glint in his eyes. It was of course one I recognized. I sighed and looked him over as well.
"Hm... You know Kyoya, I honestly don't understand why you wouldn't let me see my father."
He seemed.. To ignore me. Of course he ignored me, no one listened. Another reason for me not to be around people. I went outside and sat down on my own. I was playing with my hair when I saw Honey, one of the ones that had originally met me. He smiled up at me.
"Hello." I smiled and he crawled onto the bench next to me.
"Why aren't you inside?" He asked tilting his head. I sighed and looked down.
"Its complicated." I said simply and he tilted his head before giving a firm nod.
He leaned against me and I smiled, petting his head, which.... I couldn't tell what he was thinking about my actions, wasn't sure if I wanted to. He looked up at me.
"You're so pretty..." He ran his hand over my cheek, it was in a genuinely nice way. I smiled and picked him up.
"Well you're handsome." I poked his nose playfully and he giggled, clinging onto me slightly. I leaned back, hugging him and playing with him. I closed my eyes for just a few minutes when Honey started making noise again.
"I'm going to go check on Usa-chan. I don't want to bring her outside or else I could lose her, and I don't want to ever lose her." He crawled off me and went inside, and I decided to go with him since Honey company, was better than no company at all.
"W-where is she?" He asked when he came to the place he'd last seen her. "What does she look like Honey?" I asked running my fingers through his hair. He was shaking and his lips trembled. Mori came over having heard the commotion, as he had apparently been following us. He showed me a very oddly convenient photo.
"I'll go looking for her, I promise. I won't let anything happen to her." I smiled and pet his head and he nodded, holding back sobs and cries as Mori picked him up and held him in a gentle, loving manner, like a brother.
I ended up wandering around the building for a while, until I saw Usa-chan. Except.. She wasn't just lying around... She was... In Mitsunari's hand. He smirked.
"Hello sissy dear!" He giggled evilly.
"Give me Usa-chan..." I said in a menacing voice and he had scissors with him.
-HARUHI-
She hadn't ever trusted Mitsunari. Far from it actually. If she could've, she would've had him kicked out, but he had never done anything to that required them to proceed with that type of punishment. Haruhi noticed Honey wander off, and Mitsunari also wandered off. She didn't trust Mitsunari, but Mori hadn't followed Honey at the time. When she saw him with Scarlet she went back inside, however... She couldn't find Usa-chan for Honey. Then she realized it. Mitsunari had her.
She tried to find him on her own, but wasn't able to, and she was beginning to panic. It wasn't until she heard the scream that she knew. Not only had Mitsunari been found with Usa-chan, he had been found by SCARLET! Which was NEVER a good thing! She ran towards the direction of the scream, some of the other Host Club members following including Honey, Kaoru, and Mori.
"SCARLET!" Haruhi exclaimed as she saw her childhood friend with scissors in her stomach, it was obvious she'd moved Usa-chan in order to keep the stuffed animal safe. She was shaking as she managed to detach Mitsunari's grip and the boy looked in shock, he hadn't meant to stab her. Honey ran forward as Mori tackled Mitsunari, the blonde boy running to Scarlet. He took Usa-chan and sobbed.
He was shaking too, more of shock and relief than anything else. Kaoru was already making sure an ambulance was contacted, and Haruhi stayed by Scarlet's side.
"Usa-chan says that you saved her." Honey sniffled, and Scarlet just looked at him, giving him a tired smile as she slowly drifted into darkness.
"Scarlet? Scarlet?! SCARLET!" Haruhi screamed having begun putting pressure on the wound using her coat that she'd brought due to the cold.
"Is... Is Scarlet going to be okay?" Honey asked clutching Usa-chan close to him. Haruhi just nodded.
"She has to be okay... She has to be..." She was shaking as she kept applying pressure, the ambulance soon arriving.
-SCARLET-
It was cold and dark. I could hear the cries, and yelling. I could even feel people touching me.. But... I couldn't wake up, and I didn't understand! It wasn't until poor little Honey was crying his loudest that I shot up in bed. The poor boy was being carried out of the room. Except... Mori stopped when he heard Honey stop crying, and noticed Honey go limp.
Haruhi quickly shot out of her seat taking my hand.
"Doctor! Come in here quick!" She shouted and my doctor rushed in, he looked shocked.
"What is it?" I asked in confusion, and he said the most chilling words I had ever heard as he finished checking my vitals.
"Ms. Kaneshon... You aren't supposed to be alive..."
(I apologize for this taking so long to come out. I had writers block, then I got sick over the holidays, so I wasn't very active. Anyway, tell me what you think of the new chapter!)
