Part 18

*Jezzabelles Pov*

"Jezzabelle are you sure your okay?" Emmanuel asks on the phone as I put up the blue window curtains,

"Yes Emmanuel, now stop calling or I swear I'm gonna change my number" I say hearing him laugh,

"Your almost 9 months pregnant Jezzabelle, I dont want anything to happen to you and your child" he says as I sighed before picking up my house phone turning off the speaker,

"I'll be fine Emmanuel, now go do something useful besides bother the emotional pregnant woman" I say before hanging up after hearing him laugh,

I turned back around to the new room I fixed for the new baby boy I'll be having pretty soon.

Recently I bought a new house since I didn't want Emmets family thinking just because my husband is in a coma I can take over their house with my depression so I found a nice three room bedroom house that was beautiful on the outside and inside.

My friends in Detroit didn't take the thought of me and my family living out here in Florida to likely but they understood the fact that I wanted to stay here because of Emmets condition now and because his family didn't want me to be out of their sight now that I'm pregnant with Emmets son.

I walked around the new house smiling at the way it turned out. When I bought it, everything was so dull and empty but now that I put everything in place with the help of Dede we both finished up the house nicely. She had to go to work a few hours ago and the kids were playing in the pool at Emmanuels house so I had the whole house to myself for now.

In the bedroom I made for me and Emmet there was a large queen sized bed in the middle between the large walk in closet on one side and a door to the baby's room in case he were to cry late at night. I made sure to keep a handprint lock on all of the doors in the house because knowing what Emmet does for a living we're going to need all the protection we can get.

I put Kane the second and Jackelyns room together so that they wouldn't have to worry about being apart since they literally are inseparable. I painted Kane the second side of the room blue since its his favorite color and Jackelyn's side purple because that's her favorite and I decorated both side with their favorite disney characters which for Kane is Hercules and Jackelyn's is Princess Tiana.

I hear the doorbell ring from downstairs as I walked down the stairs carefully watching my step since my belly is so big now and I wouldn't wanna fall down the stairs. Before I even got to the door to see who it was the very familiar voice I know by heart shouted from behind it.

"Open the door bitch! Your favorite in law is here biatch!" She shouted ringing the bell over and over as I laughed before opening the door to see her holding a large bag in one hand and two large drinks in the other,

"I got us some food" she says happily walking past me as I laughed before closing the door and locking it while following her to the kitchen table by the living room,

"I got you your favorite from panda express" she says handing me my plate as I opened it smiling down at the orange chicken, sweet fire chicken breast, fried rice, and chow mein,

"And your pepsi" she says handing me the big cup as I smiled and took a sip before sitting across from her on the counter in the kitchen,

"It's so quiet around here since the families been taking the kids lately huh?" She asks as I nod while eating,

"I mean it was quite boring at first but when I finally got the fact that nothing was going to change around here if I just sat down feeling sad all the time, I decided to enjoy the free time before the diapers and all the crying comes" I say with a laugh as Dede laughs while eating her teriyaki chicken plate with fried rice and chow mein,

"Thank God I don't have kids" she says with a laugh as I rolled my eyes before laughing,

"Do you still think about your husband in a coma think lately?" She asks worriedly as I shrugged,

"Every time I think about it I get sad and start stressing out about how I'm supposed to explain to him that I'm about to have his child when he wakes or if he even does wake up from the stupid coma.........I try to keep it out of my head because the doctor wants me not to stress because it can impact the baby and I want him to come out healthy and happy not depressed and stressed like his mommy" I say running my belly as she awes,

"Have you came up with a name yet?" She asks as I thought it over before smiling,

"Emmet Jr." I say with a grin as she smiles,

"Another E in the family!" She says happily as I laughed,

"Just what god wanted" she says with a frown before laughing as I laughed while getting up to throw my plate away,

"Jezzabelle! Shit!" Dede shouted as I walked towards the trash can,

"What?" I ask turning around seeing her staring at the ground in shock as I looked down to see water dripping down my legs onto the floor,

"I think your water just broke!" She exclaimed jumping up with a gasp,

"Come on! We gotta go to the hospital" She says loudly grabbing my hand as I shook my head,

"I cant" I say pulling back as she looked at me confusedly,

"I can't have this baby without Emmet" I say with tears in my eyes before she grabbed my face to face hers with a stern look,

"I know you want your husband now but your son wants to come out now so let's go" she says sternly as I nod with a sigh as she walked me to her car before driving towards the hospital as I tried to keep my breathing steady before I give birth in her car.
