~~~{Your POV}~~~
Kisame had something to do, so he handed me off to Konan and she showed me to our shared room. "God, you have no idea how refreshing it is to have another female here." She said with a sigh. "Thank you for making it so I'm not completely surrounded by idiots."
I laughed at her exasperated statements. "So, you're Konan, correct?" I asked her, wanting to be sure. She glanced at me and smiled a bit.
"Yep. That would be me....(Y/n), was it?"
"Yeah" I replied with a smile. From there we started a polite conversation, which in turn became casual, and by the end of it, we were laughing like we had known each other for years. "Ok, but how do you not like (f/f)? I just don't understand." I said in disbelief.
 However, just as she was about to speak, there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" I said, and in walked Kisame. "Leader-sama is ready for you." He said.
I nodded and up I got, walking along-side Kisame as we made our way to down the hallway. We stopped at a door and I opened it, walking in alone. The room was smaller than I expected, but not necessarily in a bad way. It was the perfect amount of space for what filled the room.
In front of me sat a man with striking violet eyes and a shock of fiery orange hair atop his head. On his face, there were many piercings and when I met his gaze, I simply knew that there was nothing I could hide from this man. Not with those eyes staring into the depths of my soul.
"I am Pein, the leader of this group." His voice was smooth and low, giving it an ominous sound in the small enclosed space. "You have two choices now," he said. "From what I've seen, you are incredibly gifted; and who knows your full potential. I would hate to waste such a perfect opportunity to gain such a strong follower." At that, he looked at me pointedly and smirked.
"However, I will leave it up to you." He seemed like he wanted to say more, but I, being the impatient person I am, cut him off where he was, saying,
"I'm sorry, but are you just going to sit there and ramble about how great I am? Because I already know that, thank you. So if you don't mind, I'd love to know my choices that you kept talking about without telling me what they actually are."
A hint of surprise flickered in his eyes. His violet orbs widening at my confidence in front of him. But as soon as it appeared, it was all the same, gone in a instant. "You have some nerve speaking like that to the one who holds your life in his hands." He said, smirking slightly.
I gave him a look, feeling rather sassy today, and said, "Well, you see, I would be worried about that, but you haven't said you're going to kill me; yet at least. In fact, you haven't told me anything at all except that you think you need me. So, you should be the one worried if you're going through so much effort for me to stay and telling me how powerful I seem." I smiled confidently, happy with my response and feeling that I had gained the upper hand in this conversation.
"You need me more than I need you. And if you're going to kill me, do it. I have nothing to lose." I sighed thinking about that last part. If he kills me it won't matter because I have nothing to go back to anyway. There was a long pause, and I figured I was long dead. He was probably thinking up the best way to kill me. Then, he looked up at me.
"You can join us or die, your choice. Though, I do hope you choose to join us because-"
"Yeah, yeah. Because I have great potential or power or whatever." I interrupted. "Of course I'm going to join you." After that he dismissed me and I simply said thank you, walking back in the direction I had come with Kisame by my side.
~~~{Pein's POV}~~~

"Of course I'm going to join you." She said. Wow, just.....wow. This girl is insane. I like her confidence. It'll probably get her killed, but hey, she's got guts. She is certainly an interesting one. I wonder how she and the others will end up getting along. I suppose we'll see eventually. "Alright, you may go." I said to her, and then she said was gone without a word more than "Thank you." Hmmm, interesting indeed.
