Sorry for this being so sudden after no writing from me in a very long time. Thank you to those of you interested in this story, because I honestly didn't think it was going to be this popular. I'm happy to be back and writing again, but I can't promise that I'll be consistent. So thanks for being so patient with me. Now! Onward to the story! I hope it's good.

~~~Your POV~~~
Kisame looked at me expectantly, seeming to want some sort of retelling of what had happened in there.
"So? What happened? What did he want from you?" Kisame rapidly threw questions at me, not even letting me try to respond. I saw him open his mouth to ask me something else, but I quickly stopped him.
"You're rambling," I said calmly. At that, he simple closed his mouth and a light shade of purple covered his cheeks. He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and smiled, showing his pointed teeth.
"Sorry about that (Y/N), I just want to make sure you're okay," he said quietly. "No one usually comes out of there confidently." His smiled widened in a look of pride. "You did though," he said happily. "So, what's on the docket for today?" He asked this with true curiosity, and it surprised me. Wasn't he the one who should be telling me what we were doing next? He's been here longer than me. I zoned out briefly thinking about it, but quickly came to my senses again and voiced my thoughts to Kisame.
"Aren't you supposed to tell ME what's next?" I gave him a crooked smile, showing that I was teasing him.
He looked back at me and smiled
"I suppose I do have something in mind for what we could do," he said coyly. "Follow me."
He took my hand and started to lead me somewhere. I was intrigued, so I decided to  follow willingly. I wanted to see what his plan was.
~~~Kisame's POV~~~

I grabbed (Y/N)'s hand and started off to one of my favorite places by the base. It was a place that I usually went to in order to clear my head and get away from people, so it felt kind of strange to be taking another person. With (Y/N) though, it just felt right. I don't know what it is about her, but I knew I could trust her.

"Kisame? Where are we going?" (Y/N) said lightly, pulling me from my thoughts. She looked at me shining (e/c) eyes that seemed to look straight through me and smiled at me curiously. I simply smiled back at her and continued walking.

"It's a surprise," I said simply.

I didnt want to give away too much too quickly. The look she gave me at that was one of complete impatience and distress. "What? You can't do this to me, Kisame," she said dramatically. "Would you tell me," she asked innocently. "Please?" she added at the end. I chuckled under my breath and looked away from her. I knew I couldn't resist her puppy eyes.

"If I told you, then it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?" I asked her this teasingly and by the looks of it, she was disappointed her tactics didn't work. "

I suppose you'll just have to wait and see," I said for good measure. She huffed at me, but smiled none the less, and we continued on into the forest.
