Harry and Adelaide continue to travel around many of the countries within Europe, exploring what each city or province has to offer.
Well Adelaide explores, Harry has seen it all before, but like a young child discovering new delights every day, Harry is enjoying experiencing it all again through her eyes.
He feels there is something to be said when you can share it with someone else.
He hears that an old friend is currently calling London home and Harry tells Adelaide that he would love for her to meet him.
So, Harry finds himself on a train, knowing he could have very well flown them there a hell of a lot quicker, but Adelaide wants to take it slow and look at the scenery.
And Harry always obliges his love.
He rests his book down on his lap and looks over at Adelaide who currently hunches over her journal, her face frowning with concentration as she busily scribbles down her thoughts, ideas and observations.
Memories she wants to savour, things she wants to remember, places she wants to revisit, people that they've met.
His heart swells as he smiles fondly at her and only then does her frown disappear, only to be replaced by a smile.
"Stop staring," she says without looking up.
"Can't," he replies, "won't."
She sighs dramatically before flipping her journal shut and looking up to meet Harry's gaze along with his playful smirk.
"What?" she asks.
"It's lonely over here," he pats the space next to him invitingly.
Adelaide shoves her journal into her bag and rolls her eyes before standing from her seat and moving to sit next to Harry, cuddling into his side as his arm moves around her.
"Happy?" she asks pointedly.
"Not quite," he replies before leaning down to kiss her briefly, "now I am."
Adelaide swats his arm playfully before resting her head on his chest and gazing out the window.
Harry loves that she can pretend to be overdramatic and playful with him.
When they had first left, there was many a time she would flinch or shy away from him, preparing for a physical or verbal onslaught that she usually experienced with Jonathon.
But with Harry it never came.
Under Harry's care, she has blossomed, become the confident, free-spirited woman that Harry knows was inside her.
She was like a flower seed that was planted in the corner and never given the chance to grow and bloom until Harry came along, like the sun and rain, he gave her the room to grow.
He gave her life.
Hours later they arrive in London, Adelaide's excitement matching the hustle and bustle of the city however Harry decides that they'll stay in a bed and breakfast where it's much quieter.
"You're getting grumpy in your old age," Adelaide jokingly pokes fun at Harry.
He's about to protest when he agrees that she may actually be right.
"Are you excited to be seeing your friend again?" she asks as she unpacks their clothes.
"I actually am," he says, "but I'm also excited for you to meet him too."
Adelaide nods in response and continues to unpack.
"Addie..." Harry walks over to her and takes hold of the clothes in her hands, effectively stopping her from moving, "what is it?"
