My stay in Lily's didn't take long. As soon as I finished my latte, I excused my self and left.

Using my Jaguar, I went to Madam E's office. It's located somewhere in Colorado and it didn't take me long to arrive there because Lily's was just in New Mexico.

Upon arriving at the office, I gave my key to a vallet attendant and went inside the building.

...

"Good morning, Alvear. What a surprise!?" Madam E exclaimed when she saw me.

I was able to come with the use of Madam E's elevator.

Yes, she has her own elevator and it's called Madam E's, and I was able to use it because I'm Madam E's model.

And yeah, you have to use an elevator because Madam E's office is located at the 20th floor of the building.

Yes, you heard it right. At the very top of the building.

I smiled at her, "good morning, Madam E." I greeted back.

"Come, have a seat." The woman said before she took the telephone and said something.

"Sorry for the intrusion, Madam E." I said after taking a seat, "I came to tell you something." I added.

The woman looked at me and sighed, "is that something serious?" She asked and put the telephone back.

I nodded, "I believe so, Madam." I answered and gave her an awkward smile.

Well, I hope she'll agree with what I am going to say.

"If that's the thing, then I believe we must have a lunch first." The woman said, "who knows, this might be the last?" She added and stood up.

"Can't we just talk here, Madam?" I asked.

"I'm afraid not, Alvear, dear." Madam E said, "and for goodness' sake, let me this time." She quickly added.

I sighed and smiled, "if that's what you want, Madam." I answered and stood up.

She might have been letting me refuse her invitations all this time.

Geez!

The two of us went to this fancy looking restaurant. It was just eleven in the morning and yet, there are lots of people.

She immediately went inside and all I could do was to follow her.

The waiter assisted us up until we reached this table located at the very center of the place.

And well, all of the gazes are on us.

Of course, they are seeing the most influential woman in America. Why would they not bother sparing a glance at her, right?

"I'm sorry, this is the nearest place I could think of." Madam E said after we settled down, "but don't worry, they have the best food I have ever known." She added.

"That's good to know, Madam." I just said and inspected the place.

It's full of chandeliers.

This restaurant must be serving expensive dishes. One that Madam E, herself, could afford.

Not that I can't afford to eat in here, I just don't want to waste my money just by eating foods that my Mama can always cook for me.
