Scattered pieces

You

"You, always you" He whispered to her.
"Why?" she asked him back when he hugged her waist.
"There won't be another you" he kissed her temple which made her crack a smile.

"Hey you? Where were you?" she was curious where he had been.
"Sorry, I was really busy that I forgot to call you" his eyes were apologizing.
"Don't do that again. I've missed you" she turned away and he grabbed her hands.

"Here is a gift for you" she was waiting for his feedback.
"Hmmmm?" he was thoughtful.
"We've been two years together" she grinned cheerfully.
"Thank you for the gift" he gave her a short hug.

*

"How are you in this room? Is there anything you need?" he offered.
"I am fine" she replied in a sleeping position.
"Okay. Phone me when you need something" he kissed her cheek and headed to his work.

"Ma'am! Are you ready?" the doctor asked. She nodded to him a second later. And then they took her to somewhere called Operation room.
She was fighting against her pain alone.

"I am sorry" he said, ready to leave.
"Why?" her eyes went blank.
"I can't love you anymore" he stuttered.
"I am leaving. Take care" he added without any regret.
"I will" She slowly nodded her head like she knew he would leave her. Her eyes watered a minute later.

She murmured

"Hope you meet
Someone who would stay through everything with you
Someone who won't choose anything over you
Someone who would go crazy insanely about you
Someone who would give her heart out just only for you
But that someone who can't be another-me to you"
