Hazel | Grey
HAZEL COULDN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT the events of yesterday. The constant feeling of warmth spreading to her heart never faded away and Hazel didn't want it too either. She loved the feelings of being in love with someone and experiencing the endless feels of joy. Yes she knew she didn't need a man in her life, that was something her grandmother always told her but it never hurt to get into relationship once in awhile.
Hazel watched the snow fall again in different patterns as she wiped down the last bits of dirt off of the wooden tables on the peaceful evening. She dusted off her rough hands as she took in the beauty of family's coffee shop. It was something that Hazel took the most pride into. She remembered as young child always rushing off to the shop straight after school to tell her grandmother about her day. It was something about reading books and drinking endless amounts of unlimited coffee that made her feel that was she was the luckiest girl in the world.
And Hazel truly was.
She watched the clocks hand chime at nine as Grey entered back into the shop again, the same time as usual with another one of his crew neck sweaters placed on his body. She looked up at him as his tired eyes began to look as though life has finally touched them again. Grey walked up to the counter and smiled happily at Hazel she felt her heart swell with joy.
"The usual Grey?" Hazel asked him laughing to herself.
"Ughh..." Grey stuttered trying to find his words to place them into a sentence. "Not this time Haz."
Hazel stared up at him in shock, Grey had never once came into the shop and never not asked for his usual dosage of coffee. This was the routine that they shared, it made her feel sense of comfort in his presence something she hadn't felt in long time. She felt her self worry at such a simple sentence.
"What's wrong Grey?" Hazel said quietly.
"Nothing actually," Grey said softly. "I was just wondering if you wanted to take a walk with me it's beautiful evening if I do say so myself."
Hazel was taken back in surprise as she stared up at Grey's ocean eyes. She didn't know to react, she could feel her heart begin to race and the sweat start to build up at her forehead. She couldn't believe that Grey could make her feel this way but she knew she couldn't miss out on such amazing opportunity.
"Let me grab my coat and we can be out in second." Hazel replied back her smiling showing across her face.
Grey smiled back at her his face clearly showing joy as he tapped his fingers lightly on the counter.
"Perfect."
