annies pov:
after kenzie calms down a bit,she gets her phone and shows me the convo between her and johnny and i was so shook.
"i can't believe he likes me" i whisper catching kenzies attention
"don't tell him you like him either" she sighs
"ew i mean no" i say,she smiles and hugs me.
we sit up and kenzie starts explaining her and johnnys relationship to me;
"tbh i kinda knew he liked you ever since the first day of school,he looked at you like her looks at me and whenever he called me pretty,i just forgot about it because i thought i was just exaggerating but i guess not,but then you came along and made me forget everything about it. i caught him staring at you at some points but again i thought i was exaggerating."
i just sigh and hug her.
"you don't deserve him" i say rubbing her back. she soon falls asleep on me and i decide to talk some sense into johnny.
text messages to johnny
annie: i can't believe you
johnny: huh?
annie: how can you break up with kenzie
annie: OVER TEXT
annie: are you stupid
johnny: do you even know why?
annie: because you like me
annie: i saw the text messages john
johnny: oh
johnny: well do you like me?
annie: wtf no
annie: i don't even know if i want to be friends with you anymore
johnny: why
annie: ugh,maybe because you can't treat my bestfriend right
annie: she doesn't deserve you
johnny: how is she
annie: she has been crying for like an hour but she's just fallen asleep looking all pretty im guessing you guys were going out on a date today
johnny: yea
annie: why do you care anyways
annie: you broke her heart
johnny: i know
annie: whatever you and hayden are just idiots
annie: but im glad im friends w hayden

kenzie is still asleep so i decide to book us some tickets to watch a movie and then we can go and eat some food and just walk around,since johnny decided to ditch her.
i decide to take out some jeans for her and a grey jumper so she can match me. i wake her up and help her take her braids out and then i tell her to put on the outfit i chose out for her.
"where we going" she yawns
"we are going to watch a movie and then eat some food and just walk around" i say and she just nods and brushes her hair out.
"why you brushing the waves out" i ask
