annie's pov:
i wake up a bit later than usual so i quickly throw on some black nike sweatpants and a hoodie alone with my trainers.

i skip breakfast and meet kenzie outside.
"hey annie" she smiles and we hugs.
"guess you got the memo" i joke as i look at her outfit and she's wearing sweats and hoodie as well.
"haha yep" she laughs

at school

we walk and go straight to lauren,johnny and hayden.
"hey guys" i smile and they greet back.
i put my books in my locker but notice everything has gone quiet. all i hear is high heels walking down the corridor. i look back and see nadia in a short black shirt with a black tank tops with black boots with jayden and ruby.
"slutty much" lauren murmurs,i gasp and snigger at her comment.

all three come up to us and smirk.
"oh look it's the girl who's brother died" nadia smiles.
"NADIA" kenzie screams and pushes her. "who do you th-how do you even know about that!" she says
"i have my ways" she says smiling at me.

i have tears pouring down and lauren hugs me while johnny is trying to calm down kenz and hayden is talking to nadia. all i see is people looking at me and people just keep asking if im okay.

i just groan and walk out of the school and run home. luckily my parents weren't home and neither was hayley.

i lay on my bed and cry so much. i can't believe someone told her,the only people who knew was hayden and kenzie but i trust them they would never tell her,especially her.

i just cry even more and ignore all the phone calls and text messages im getting. but after 10 minutes i grab my phone and see that 3 different people have texted me: hayden,kenzie and someone that i don't know.

text message from unknown:

unknown: hey annie

annie: who's this?

unknown: ruby
unknown: i hope you are okay

annie: oh thanks

ruby: it was me

annie: what was you

ruby: i was outside the classroom when you were talking to hayden
ruby: and as soon as i found out i panicked and told jayden & nadia
ruby: i never knew nadia would be that cruel to you

annie: oh

ruby: i understand that you wouldn't want to speak to me

annie: it's okay ruby

ruby: im really sorry annie
