Thomas, who was a husband and father, was at home with his baby daughter. It was early in the morning and he had just woke up. The house was quiet, he grabs the baby monitor and makes his way to his work desk in his small office at home. He yawns and places the baby monitor on his desk. He sees his daughter Melanie on the monitor as she sleeps, holding her teddy bear close. He works for about ten minutes when he hears crying.
He gets up from his desk, getting ready to comfort his baby when he hears, "Go to sleep...go to sleep...". He sighs and smiles at his wife's voice. He sits back at his desk when he hears the lock on the front door click. He lunges up from his desk and runs to the door. His wife opens it, carrying groceries.
The husband's face pales, "You were just putting Mel to sleep...". The wife's face turns to one of confusion, "l was shopping honey.".
