Alana's POV
So a few days have passed and it's time to go home.
After the kiss with Jack he barely came to visit. I wonder why, I mean it didn't mean anything and was a total accident... right? I mean yeah he was drop dead gorgeous, and like we had so much in common, and his eyes were like caramel candies, and his lips were so soft and- fuck.
My train of thought was interrupted when my mom walked in holding my bag.
"ready sweetheart? it's time to go home." she smiled and brought me into a hug.
We were almost done packing up my things and then we heard a very soft knock at the door. If my mom and I weren't silent it wouldn't have been heard. My mom turns as I finish zipping my bag.
"Oh hello Dr. Jones," Dr. Jones was the doctor over my case, he was extremely nice and very welcoming. "what brings you here?" my mother finishes.
"Well," he starts looking at me with sorrowful eyes, "despite you going home, you still have to come in once a week for counseling sessions, until we see improvement."
You roll your eyes and shake your head, just wanting to get out of this dreadful place. Finally he leaves, and you're able to go home. Finally. You think to yourself.
In the car ride home Something Different come on the radio. You scream frightening your mom and pull out your phone to text Daniel.
ALANA: DANIELLLLLLL !! GUESS WHATT
SOMETHING DIFFERENT IS ON THE RADIOOOO
DANIEL: awesome.
ALANA: wait ... what's wrong?
DANIEL: nothing.. I'll ttyl
Well that was werid you thought. You turned off your phone and started at the window the rest of the ride.
You pull up in your driveway and take a deep breath. Finally you get out of the car and start walking to the door. You reach for the handle and push the door open.
"SUPRISEEE!!" you jump back cause you weren't expecting that. You look up and see all the boys , Kay , and her little brother.
"Welcome home babe" Daniel says as he kisses your forehead. You smile up at him. You swear you see Jack roll his eyes but before you can ask you're tackled in a hug by Jonah, Corbean, and Zach.
You start laughing as you are tickled and attacked with cheek kisses and murmurs of ' we've missed you '. Finally the boys let you back up, and you smile and laugh as Jonah helps you stand up.
"sorry about that. I just missed my baby sister." he let out a nervous laugh and you hugged him, nuzzling your face into his neck.
"I've missed you too Jonah"
The party continues and throughout you can't help but look at Jack. He looked so sad. You didn't want to raise suspicions so you didn't ask him, you just continue having fun even though you're curious.
It was getting extremely late so everyone but the boys left. They were too scared to leave you all alone so they decided to stay the night. You didn't have school tomorrow so your mom was okay with it.
You and they boys played some games and were watching some movies, Jack always excluding himself. Half way through Scooby Doo.. Corbyn's choice.. Jack got up and walked outside. Jonah gave you a look and you knew it was because of you.
You had FaceTimed Jonah and told him what happened and he was extremely supportive but concerned.
So you got up out of Daniels arms. He groggily grabbed your wrist, and puckered his lips, signaling he wanted a kiss. You leaned down and pecked his lips. He smiled and you walked away as guilt filled your stomach.
Jack was standing outside on your porch, you went to join him.
"hey there.. man" you said as you stood beside him. You saw him smirk but it quickly faded, "you've been really distant today, is everything okay?" as you spoke you could see your breath in the air. Considering it was the end of November it was pretty dang cold.
"yeah I'm fine." his response was short and snippy. You could sense he didn't wanna be bothered. So you began to walk away. "wait, Alana. look, I'm sorry it's just Daniel's like my brother and you're like my sister. I like you.. a lot. But it can't happen again, no matter how much I want it to." he looks at you and then at his feet.
"you took the words out of my mouth. Jack, I think I like you, hell I'm not sure, but I do know that I think I'm in love with Daniel. I can't continue to hurt him. I just want my best friend back..." you say hoping he'll understand.
Jack is silent for a minute. You stand there shivering and waiting for a response. It finally comes;
" okay. I think I can do that. I don't want to hurt him either" you both smile and laugh. You turn to him and pull him in for a hug. After this you both decide it's cold as hell outside and go in.
You're extremely tired plus you wanna be alone for a moment. So you tell the boys all goodnight and head up to your room. You brush your teeth and wash your face and all that jazz. After you finish in the bathroom you walk to your room and start changing. You take off your bra and put on a tight tank top, and you don't bother putting pants on so you're just in your underwear.
All the sudden you hear your door opening and turn to see who it is.
Daniel was standing there and his eyes were wondering up and down your body. You chuckle and cause him to become flustered and his cheeks turn red.
"I.. um.. wanted to come say goodnight to you.. I'll uh I'll leave.." he begins to turn and walk away.
"No Daniel, wait." you say. He stops and turns to you with an eyebrow raised. You take his hand and pull him into your room while pulling the door shut.
"babe what are you doing?" he nervously asks while you're guiding him over to your bed. You felt guilty but you wanted to make sure he knew how much you cared for him. You wanted his body on yours and you could tell by the way his eyes looked at your body he wanted that too.
You began kissing Daniel with as much passion and love you could, and he returned it.
"I want you" you whispered in his ear, with that his hands started wondering all over your body. He flipped you over on your back and looked at you with desire in his eyes.
"I want you too" he smirked and crashed his lips into yours. His fingers playing at the seem of your shirt.
