3rd person POV
'The Magic Knights are Warlocks. There are 9 orders/guilds that directly serves the king. That risk their lives for the kingdom. All subjects look up to them.'
"Yesh, I'm getting nervous now." (R/p) said, trying to cool himself down while two birds are bothering him.
"Damn, where did all these birds come from?" (R/p2) said trying to get the birds that are surrounding him to get away.
'These birds only come out this time of the year. It'll only come to you when you have "less Magic" than the average person.'
Walking towards the center, whispers going around the room like:
"Look, they have no birds at all." and, "Hey, isn't he the one who got the 4-leaf clover." and another one saying, "Yeah and isn't that the last (L/n) as well?"
"Really?!? Are you serious!?"
"Hehe (Y/n), Yuno, this is the first step forward to being the wizard king." Asta said looking very proud while dozens of birds surrounded him and trying to pull some skin off.
"Did he really said 'wizard king', he does realize that he has an disadvantage." (R/p1) said, whispering to the person right next to him.
"I'll show you my past 6 month training results." Asta said trying to stay still while the birds keep bothering him. "•

AGGH GET THESE THINGS OFF OF ME!!!" He shouted while the birds keep on chasing him.
"Hey, even if he's from the stix, isn't that a bit much?" (R/p2) thought just flabbergasted of how much birds the boy has.
Meanwhile in the Aforementioned Stix town of Hadge.
"I can understand Yuno and (Y/n), but to bring Asta along too? Are you sure that's wise?" Father said, trying to convey the book master from the grimoire tower.
"Besides, is that book really a grimoire?"
"Not a clue." He replied.
"WHAT!"
"Since I don't know, I asked the Magic Knights to look at it."
"That grimoire... could it be..."
"W-well, I bet you he'll simply fail and then come back home." Father said, keeping his pride up. "Besides, Yuno and (Y/n) are with him so everything should be fine.
"Asta..." Thought sister Lily, worrying about Asta.
Back to Asta and the others.
"Nononono!!! Leave me alone!" Asta screamed at the top of his lungs. It's been a few minutes trying to pry and out smart the birds that keeps on surrounding him. He keeps on running until...
BAM
He hits to another person who made the birds go away.
As Asta looked up to say 'thank you' for getting the birds away and 'sorry' for bumping into him, he got scared because of his appearance.
"You want to die kid?" ??? (Yami) asked, giving a strong amount of mana releasing from his body.
"Who the hell is this guy?!?" Asta thought. "That look in his eye." "It's a look of a killer!" "His neck is thick."
"That's not a neck of a warlock! He's a giant; is he really from our world! Wait, wait, it's not good to base someone on their looks; he's probably like that since I look scared."
"Try to be friendly." Asta whispered to himself and then speak normally, "You look very old for a 15 year old, what kind of troubles you've gone through?"
??? looked even more pissed off than before a then spoke again, "You really do want to die." Asta seemed right the first time he saw him. As whispers going around about Yami and the Black Sheep's Crook, the captains of the squads came up making all of the birds go away.
"Our young testers, sorry for the wait." The captain of Golden Sunrise announced. Everyone was cheering for all the captains that are lined up. "Each captain of the Magic Knights have the power of 100 warlocks together. It's from these 9 that the next emperor is chosen."
"Tsk, it's already starting." Yami stated as he starts to walk away from Asta. "If you treasure your life that you managed to keep up, I will not hesitate to kill you."
"Than- Wait WHAT!"
"Asta, come on!" (Y/n) yelled at him, making him catch up with Yuno and (Y/n).
"Hey look! It's William Vanjan, the leader of Golden Sunrise." A random person yelled nearby.
"I want to be part of that group." Another person said.
"Ha! Don't be silly. Only elites from royalty are allowed in." A person replied to the other. More and more comments spread around the area.
'Magic tree: Descent.'
As soon as William said the spell, the sky started to form huge clouds even though there weren't any before. Then tree roots came down giving each contestant a broom.
"So this is the man closest to the king." The trio thought.
"Weird mask." Asta also thought.
"Well then," he started off. "We will begin the Magic Knights test. We're going to grade you on many factors. We 9 captains will be the ones to look over what you are doing. And then when we are all done, we'll choose who gets to be in our squads. If two or more captains choose you you get to choose which squad to be in. If no one picks you, you can try next year. If only one captain choose you, you'll have no objection for what we have chosen. Your first test is to use that broom to fly." A guy right next to him showed everyone a demonstration of how to do it. William continued with his explanation. "Anyone who can control their magic should be able to do this. This is one of the basic thing that anyone can do to become a step closer to becoming the wizard king. If you can't do it, your not worth looking at." William said and the test began. Many people struggled to fly but managed in a few minutes. Meanwhile (Y/n) and Yuno looked like they've been doing this for a long time by standing on top of the broom. Asta still tried to fly but he was unable to do it. (Y/n) noticed it and flew down to Asta and asked him if he needed any help. He declined her offer and she reluctantly agreed and flew away towards Yuno. Many trials were made and Yuno and (Y/n) made it through with no problem at all while Asta was struggling. Then it was time for the final test.
