Chapter 2

It's now the next morning, and if you're wondering, yes, I did enter the contest, my chances of winning are one in a couple of million anyway.
Right now I'm facetiming April, I just told her about the contest and she's freaking out.
"OMG WHAT IF YOU WIN?! WHO DO YOU CHOOSE TO COME WITH YOU?!" I'm just laughing at her at this point, she has been screaming for the past five minutes, she suddenly stopped screaming and looked at me, she had a serious look on her face and she didn't say anything for another minute, but then "Isa, you choose me right? I mean, I have to meet Jimin, he's my future husband, I can't miss this opportunity" I burst out laughing at her even though I knew she was completely serious, of course, I will take her with me, even though Ella is a big fan too, she doesn't have the same interest in going to Korea with us, she's more focused on getting a job, and I completely understand. But maybe, just maybe, I can ask the one having the contest if I can bring her too. But let's not forget, I don't have a chance of winning...

"Of course I choose you, I can't travel to the other side of the word without my other half" She smiled and hugged her phone, "aww thank you! But what about Ella?" I told her my plan about talking to the contest people, and she nodded, "But you're missing one key thing" I said, "I won't win the contest, there are probably millions of people who have entered."
She sighed and looked down, "I know, but I just want to get away from her for a bit, I want to start over where no one knows me..." She looked at me and I could see tears starting to form in her eyes, "Don't cry, I feel the same way, but we just have to hope for the best I guess."
she nodded and said, "I hope you're ready because I will be over in 5, and I will stay at your place until the contest is over in two days, I need moral support when we lose you know!"

5 minutes later my bedroom door opened and in came, you guessed it, April.
She had her colored red hair in a ponytail and was carrying two bags, she threw them on the floor and began unpacking like she just came home from vacation.
She looked at a picture on my wall and walked towards it "Hello Jimin, did you miss me?" "what, you say hello to my poster before you say hello to me?" she just looked at me with a 'duh' expression on her face and kept smiling at the picture of Jimin. She's a bit weird sometimes, but she's my best friend, so I have to accept it, and let's face it, I'm not much better myself.

"So what are we going to do when we win?" we were sitting on my bed watching a K-drama and talking. "I don't know, you're still forgetting that we might not win, besides, we don't even know if we are brave enough to actually go." she nodded and looked down, I could see it made her sad to think about it, so I quickly tried to comfort her "but, we might win, everyone else has the same chance as us, so why not us?" she looked up at me, and I could see hope in her eyes, she jumped out of my bed and went to my closet, she began looking through it. "What should I wear when we meet them? what does Jimin like?"

Another three hours went by where we were just talking and watching BTS and dramas, My mom told us that dinner was ready and we're now eating with the rest of my family, my mom, my dad, and my brother.
"so... I entered this contest online where you can win a trip to Seoul with BTS" I said and my parents looked at me "well, that great Isa, if you think you can do it, then go for it!" my mom said and smiled at me, "and I get to go too!" April said proud, "great, then I don't have to look at you two for a while" my younger brother Jack said, April pushed him with her elbow and looked at him while rolling her eyes.
We finished eating and April and I went to my room, we facetimed Ella and told her about the contest.
"I really want to go too, but do you really think you can talk to the one having the contest?" "I can try... I can't promise anything though, but I really hope you can come too!" we talked to her for the rest of the night until we all went to bed.

April woke me up in the morning by jumping on the bed, I don't understand how someone can be that energized in the morning. "ISA ISA ISA! THEY WILL ANNOUNCE THE WINNER TODAY!" she screamed "WHAT!?, I thought it was tomorrow!" she shook her head and showed me the website, it had changed the date, there was a countdown too, it said: 0 days, 1 hour, 09 minutes, 53 seconds.
my hands were shaking and I got nervous, I better not get a panic attack now! the countdown kept counting down (well, obviously) and we both got super excited and nervous, the countdown was soon on 23 minutes, and we couldn't wait any longer. "we won't win will we?" she looked at me with teary eyes, "you don't know that we could be lucky!" I told her. She looked at the time on the screen, "just 2 minutes left" she looked at me and hugged me, "I don't want to look, just tell me when it's over." I nodded and looked at the time again. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... 'The winner is...'

"April...." I said and she looked at the screen.
