Chapter 4

April's P.O.V

It's now Sunday and I just got home from Isa's house, because I have to pack. I went inside my house and went to the living room where my mom was watching TV.
"Hello, mom!" I said and hugged her, we had a really strong bond, I told her everything, she hugged me back and said hello. I still hadn't told her that I'm going to Korea, but I guess I have to now, even though I'm almost 20, I still ask her for permission when I want to do something.

"Do you remember the contest i told you about? The one about BTS?" I asked while sitting down on the couch, "yes? what about it?" She looked at me and muted the TV so she could hear me better.

"Well, we won! isn't it great?" I had a big smile on my face, she looked at me, and her facial expression was hard to read.

"Are you sure that it's a good idea? What about your anxiety?" She asked, "well, I think it will be okay. I have Isa, and maybe Ella" I looked down at my hands, I knew she thought it was a bad idea, she's always so worried about me. But I'm 19 so I should be able to do what I want, but I just want my mom to be happy.
"I know, but do you really think it's a good idea? If you think about it. You will be on the other side of the world, I will not be able to help you if you get homesick" She said in a worried tone.

"I know, but this is my biggest dream coming true, I can't miss this mom. I know you're not happy about it, but I can do what I want. And the only thing I want right now is to go to Seoul." I stood up from the couch and went to my room to pack.

I took out my suitcase and started packing, I packed clothing, makeup, (even though I never use it. But you never know) other toiletries and other things I might need.

My mom came into my room about 20 minutes later, "okay" was the only thing she said, "okay what?" I asked and stopped packing, "okay, you can go to Seoul. If you promise me one thing." She sat down on my bed and crossed her legs, I sat on my chair and looked at her. "Okay... What is it that you want me to promise you?" I bit my lip, i was worried it would be something like 'don't call me when you want to come home'.

She took my hands and looked me in the eyes. "You know that guy Jim? Jinmi? what is he called again?" I laughed and said

"Jimin. His name is Jimin," she nodded and smiled, "yes, that one. Promise me you will do your best to make him my son-in-law, he's really good looking!" I hit her a little on her shoulder and laughed, "I can try, but I can't promise anything. I don't think he will find someone like me attractive, I'm sorry" I looked down, I was a little sad, I don't have a chance with someone like him, he's basically perfect, and I'm just... Well... Not even close to okay.

"Hey, don't say that I'm sure he will fall for you as soon as he sees you,! Anyone would, you're beautiful!" She dried the tear that had escaped my eye, "then, why haven't I had a single boyfriend in the 19 years i have been alive?" I whispered in a shaky voice. "Because no one has the courage to ask a beautiful girl like you out" she answered and smiled at me.

Isabella's P.O.V

I just received a reply to my e-mail, I haven't read it yet, I'm too nervous. I need to read it with someone else.
I Facetimed April, "what's up!" She yelled through the phone, and i could see she jumped on her bed, to lie down.
"I just got the reply..." I opened the mail, but i didn't read it yet.
"You did?! What does it say?" She sat up and put her face close to her phone, "well... I haven't read it yet, I wanted to read it with someone, I'm nervous" I said, she nodded and asked me to continue. "Should I just read it? I'm just gonna read it" I took a deep breath and began reading. "Hello miss Black. Unfortunately, we can't give you another plane ticket for your friend. However, we have talked to the members of BTS, and they agreed to pay for the third plane ticket, as they would like to meet all three of you. We hope you have a safe trip tomorrow."
April loked at me through the pgone with a big smile, "omg i'm so happy! We're all going together?" I nodded and smiled, "I'm calling Ella."

We hung up and i called Ella right away, "Ella! I have great news!" I read the mail to her and she started screaming, "OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"

"Yes! isn't it great?! Start packing, we're leaving tomorrow!"
