Asle POV

I could feel Elsa's power draining right after she punched Pitch. She had indeed won, but not for long.

So I decided to help her. Her spirit had been damaged, so she can't keep fighting.

But not before my thoughts drifted to when she made me cry for Jack. How did she do that? I don't even have tear ducts, for goodness sakes! So how did she make my eyes leak?

Then I realized something as I looked onto the ground where 'I' cried.

And those were not tears.

They were...drops of moonlight. I could see them, glowing in the dark of the night. But...I didn't think I could cry anything, no matter how horrid I felt. She had done this to me before, making my cry after I sang the song.

How?

I...she...

Pitch. He deserves to die, after all he did.

So I made it happen.

I grabbed his throat before anyone could react and shut my eyes tight, attempting to block the image out of my head, but although my eyes were closed, I still saw it. That desperate face, begging me not to.

Too late.

Jack POV

Am I dying? What's going on? I DONT WANNA DIE!

I tried to talk, but nothing came out.

Then I opened my eyes and saw that Elsa was gone, to be replaced by a just as angry Asle.

I didn't even have time to shut my eyes before he exploded into black dust.

Then I passed out, but not before I said Elsa's name.

~*~*~*~Later that day...~*~*~*~*~*

"Jack? Jack, wakey wakey!" I heard a voice say.

I groaned and opened my eyes. The entire gang was back at the cottage except Elsa.

I looked to where my wound was, but it was gone, with not even a scar left.

"What happened?" I muttered groggily.

"We have no freaking clue, except that Pitch went beddy bye. Also, Asle is outside waiting for you." Merida said.

Seeing what Asle did, I did not wanna get on her bad side, so I went to see her, wincing at every step.

"Uh...um..." I said, not knowing what to say as I saw her sitting on a log facing the sunrise.

"Jack?" She suddenly asked.

"Y-y-yes?" I stuttered, a bit scared of her.

"He isn't gone for good." She said solemnly.

Then we heard people behind us.

"Oh, look! It's the dork and the other dork!" A familiar, annoying voice said.

"Hey what was your name again? Aile? A******?" He said and his other friends laughed.

Asle was still ignoring them, facing the sunrise, deep in thought.

"Hey, b****! Didn't you hear me?!" He laughed, shoving her over. He wasn't even drunk, and he had the nerve to shove her over.

I stepped forwards.

"Hey, stop it! Leave her alone you son of a b****!" I said angrily. They should probably know better, after witnessing what she did to me. Not blaming her though, because I was being what I just called Simon.

"What are you doing here, Simon?" I asked.

"Why, just trekking the north mountain, like you were. Oh, wait, you weren't, you were busy finding that nobody!" He snickered.

"I thought you were on my side, not the nobody's! She always looks like she just murdered someone. What if she did? So Mr. Popular's defending the murderer now? Wait till everyone hears about this!"

I winced. He had come too close to the truth, and I was crossing my fingers hoping that she didn't hear.

"I did hear, Jack. And I did know." She replied in a steely calm voice.

Did know what?

"Did someone finally manage to thaw your frozen heart? Or is it just because you don't have one?" She said, slowly getting up and walking towards him.

He took a step back.

Smart move, I thought.

She slowly walked towards him, each foot hitting the ground with force.

"Hey, Simon! You're not afraid of a girl, are you?" One of his friends said.

"You have no FRICKING clue what this girl can do." Asle said.

She walked up to them.

I SO should have left.
