DEAD LAND

The next day we began to watch others while they were outside with the snow, but their hands did not glow. I told my friend Leona about everything that happened. My friends became Arica's friends and Arica's friends became my friends. We all became a big group of friends and we told them everything that had happened.

A after a while of getting to know Arica and Arica getting to know my siblings, a year had already passed. Our birthday together was fun and there were gorgeous decorations. In our big huge house we had an empty room, so me and Arica decided to invite people over and have a dance, almost like a ball. We turned the lights off and put candles up on the candle holders on the walls then lit every single one. It looked gorgeous we told everyone to dress really fancy like they did when there was no electricity, everyone was in tusks and ball gowns. We told them to wear masks, dresses the bottom flared out really far, and gloves that were up to your forearm. It was so fun and fancy. My two younger sisters were wearing really cute fancy dresses that were their sizes. After the ball, we told everyone to go home besides my best friends and Arica's closest friends. Our friends slept over at our gigantic house, that I had just begun to get used to. When they woke up they said that was one of the funnist parties they had ever went to. The next day after our friends left mom had my two younger sisters go in their rooms to play while she told me and Arica what the note in her black book meant.

She said, "When the note said tell them everything it meant, you guys are from a royal bloodline. You have magic and for now on we are going to start your lessons on how to use the magic you have," Mom continued. "If you use too much magic at once it will be easier for the snow goblins to find you, you do not want them to find you because they will take all your magic away if you can't stop them."

Mom gave me and Arica the two rings that I saw in the box 2 years ago in our basement. The next day we began our magic lessons, and practiced the basics, making a snowball without touching it. We also learn how to throw the snowballs in the direction we wanted them to go.

A week later we had enough knowledge about our magic to have a snowball fight. "I'm going to win you, on this snowball fight," I said with a smile.

"I'm going to win you and you'll be covered in snow," said Arica while throwing a snowball at my back.

I threw a snowball back at her, and not too far in the snowball fight our two younger siblings came and began to throw snowballs at us. It was so much fun and I finally realized how much fun people would have to play in the snow. Arica did end up winning, she can get her snowballs ready so fast. The next day we started having lessons of how to make a snowman with our magic, it was harder than making snowballs. It took 3 weeks to learn how to make snowmen. We learned how to control our magic so our hands wouldn't sparkle in public, and so they would not burst snow everywhere, and learning all that made so we could spend our time outside in the snow. In a year we learned how to make pretty much everything out of snow, and we played with our younger sisters, and made playgrounds they could play on.

One day we went to school and while we were outside someone was being mean to me and Leona, and Arica could not stand it so she began to use her magic to stop him, I began working with her and soon he looked like frosty the snowman. He finally went away and gave up, but everyone saw it all. A tornado of snow was swirling around us, and after falling to the ground we realized we were in this land that looked almost... Burnt. It looked like winter but all black and grey. Before I vanished I heard everyone gasp. Our school usually got out at three but I wouldn't be there to go home, and mom would be wondering where I was, and where I had went.

Mom and dad started getting worried once me and Arica had not went home and it was after four, but we always got home before four. Mom and dad called the school, and the principal said, Didn't they get picked up early?"

"Um....no," said mom.

"Oh, I thought they did because they were absent for the last few classes of the day," said the principal.

After they got done calling the principal, Mom asked Lila and Margo if they had seen where we had went. They said they didn't know, so Mom talked about it with Dad and they came up with a solution, the Dead Land.

Mom had the girls go to their rooms and told them to stay in the house, and to keep the door shut even if people knocked.

Mom and Dad went outside and used their own magic to make snow surround them, like what happened at school with me and Arica. In a blink of an eye they were in a strange land with black snow, it was dark and dreary. There were black horses, black trees that looked almost burnt, it was hideous, and everything look dead and it was very hard to even see something living, it was so empty and dark. There was a grey, almost black castle that Mom and Dad were walking towards.

When they got to the castle Mom said, "We came to get our daughters, Lorelock," she continued. "So give them to us."

A loud voice said, "Come get them."

The castle door opened to a bridge over black dirty water with dead fish floating around in it. They walked across the bridge and once they got into the castle, the door shut. They began the foundation of a fight to get Me and Arica back. Mom and Dad walked further into the castle to find Lorelock, the king of snow goblins, sitting at his throne. There were statues of goblins in every corner, they were grey and they were 5 feet tall, each of their wings were twice as long as their bodies. They had sharp pointy horns that bent in at the top towards their head, almost like a bull. The goblins stood up on their two cricked hind legs.

Lorelock said, "If you can't find your daughters before 3 days, you won't see them again. You better get started, this is a big castle."

They started searching in every room, they got to a room with a party and looked everywhere, but they still could not find Me or Lexes.

Dad said, "Come on let's see if Arica and Lexes are in here."

They went into the room and there were people dancing and playing game and it was a big huge party. There was a table filled with desert. There were so many guest.

"Wow,"said Mom, "I don't know Lorelock had parties in this old castle."

All the games you could think of were there. It was like a party come true. They started walking around and looking for Me and Arica. A waitress came over with some cake to taste, she said, " Do you want to taste some cake?"

Dad said, "No we are good, but thanks."

The waitress yelled back, "Why won't you take a piece of cake?"

"Have you seen two girls that look close to the same walk through here?" Dad asked ignoring the last sentence the waitress had just said.

The waitress face went cherry red and she exploded and a dragon flew up in the air from where she had just been. The walls around Mom and Dad glitches and they saw that they were not in a party with other people, they were in a really old cave with only the big red dragon to fight. The big dragon floating gracefully in the air began to roar and flap its wings furiously towards Mom and Dad. Mom swiped her hands before her face and a sharp piece of ice came out of nowhere and slapped the dragon into the opposite wall. The dragon got back up and began to blow fire towards Mom and Dad in the air. Mom froze flame after flame while Dad got a sharp piece of ice ready, once it was ready he used it to slash the dragons wings. The dragon fell to the floor of the enormous cave, and it looked much larger when it was not in the air. Mom made another weapon from snow that she would later use to kill the dragon while Dad was holding it back with a towering wall to hold the dragon back for just a short while.

The wall was not strong enough anymore, even though Dad kept adding ice layer after ice layer. The dragon burst through the wall and slashed its claw forward towards Dad. It had cut through his shirt and he was bleeding as he fell to the ground loosing his strength. Mom threw her hands forward toward the dragon and the weapon she had made flew through the air and sliced the throat of the huge dragons head off causing it to land heavily on the floor as Mom dodged her way toward Dad to help him. He had a huge gash in the center of his torso.
