Roy Mustang sat in his chair, loosely holding the pen in his right hand as he occupies himself by staring into the blank wall on the other side of the office. There was a light continuous tapping sound filling the otherwise silent room from the sound of his small pendulum sitting on the edge of his wood desk.
Of course, the Colonel had paperwork to do, obvious to anyone who walked into the empty room. The stack of papers on his desk had to be a foot tall by the looks of it. Roy Mustang never cared to finish his paperwork, nor start it.
There was times on occasion that he would remember his job wasn't testing furniture such as his chair or the black futon sitting in the corner of the room. Though, he never got very far, seeing he was constantly fatigued. Either that or a certain blond male walks into the room claiming to be bored.
This certain blond male kept his hair neatly kept in a braid, leftover hair staying remaining free on the sides of his head. His stature and frame was quite small. As the military had their uniform, the boy chose to have a sort of his own uniform.
He wore his signature red jacket that ran down to his knees. Underneath his jacket he wore another, shorter jacket that reached to his belt. The last layer of his clothing was a sleeveless shirt. Though the fact that it had no sleeves was hidden by his two other layers.
His pants were a solid black, along with the rest of his clothes aside from the long cloak like article of clothing. His state Alchemist watch hung loosely from belt, hiding in his pocket.
The boys name was Edward Elric. Because of his small figure he earns constant short jokes such as "pipsqeak" or just a simple "shorty". Though, there were times that Roy Mustang got clever. Those times were jokes such as "Fullmetal Midget". Edward often fought back with Roy's comments with names such as "Colonel Bastard".
Aside from the two's height difference, Roy's style was much different. His hair was in no specific way, many questioning whether or not he actually brushed it in the morning. Though, his clothing was kept neat, seeing it was the traditional military unform.
His eyes were a solid onyx, though one of his eyes were covered by an eye patch. During the event of fight with so called "father" he had lost eyesight in one of his eyes being used as a sacrifice. He was forced to preform human transmutation and as a price to pay, like Ed's arm and leg, along with Alphonse's body, lost eyesight in one eye.
As Roy was still day dreaming of anything that came to mind, Edward came in just as expected. Roy was broken from his thoughts, quickly trying to pretend as if he had been previously working. Edward hardly ever knocked on the door, surprising the older male.
"Hey, Colonel Bastard!" Ed gives a toothy grin as he shuts the door harshly. He walks over and falls onto the futon.
"What to want, Fullmetal?" Mustang says as he signs another paper. "I'm trying to work."Ed laughs a little at Roy's comment on his progression in his work. "No you're not. You were probably day dreaming of women, again." He states the last word, innocently smiling as venom came out along with the harsh truth.
"I was not, at least, not about that." Ed looks over his shoulder, his arm promping himself on Roy's desk. "Now, what did you want?" Roy says, yawning out the last part.
Roy turns his head to look at Ed, who currently was smiling like he had never done anything wrong in his life."I'm bored." He states promptly, the smile remaining on his face.
Roy's hands firmly grasped around Ed's small neck, he was just about ready to kill the boy. For the longest time, after Ed was done with his tasks, he came into Roy's room, asking to be entertained. The smaller Alchemist yelped and growled at the stronger male. Roy's hands release from Ed's throat, he couldn't do it. For some reason, he'd feel to bad, and go to prison.
