Mr. Krabs betrays SpongeBob

SpongeBob woke up that morning happier than usual. He jumped out of bed and pranced to the bathroom to get ready for the celebration at the Krusty Krab. He looked in the mirror and proudly saw himself as the employee of the month, sure that Squidward wouldn't be. He placed his Krusty Krab employee hat on his head and skipped to the ceremony at the Krusty Krab, singing happy songs. SpongeBob got to the ceremony and stood excitedly in the crowd, confident that he would be chosen.
"Welcome to the ceremony where we celebrate and praise the employee of the month like a god!" the news anchor announced. The crowd cheered, with the loud yelling of SpongeBob's enthusiasm rising above the voices of the crowd. The crowd's cheering faded, and the news anchor waited for SpongeBob to stop cheering. SpongeBob gave one last "WHOOP," and then stopped. The news anchor spoke again. "Now for the announcement, I will pass the mic to the owner of the restaurant, Mr. Krabs!" He placed the mic into Mr. Krabs' claws.
"Hello everyone!" Mr. Krabs greeted enthusiastically. "No refunds."
"My leg!" someone yelled from the crowd.
"Today I shall announce the employee of the month!"
SpongeBob squealed with excitement, barely able to control himself.
"The employee of the month is..."
SpongeBob was jumping up and down, squealing. He waited for Mr. Krabs to say his name. This was going to be his moment.
"Squidward!
SpongeBob stopped and went silent. He was sure that Mr. Krabs had made a mistake.
He raised his hand. "Mr. Krabs?"
"Yes SpongeBob?" Mr. Krabs answered.
"I think you made a bit of a mistake."
Mr. Krabs sighed with a look of guilt on his face. "No SpongeBob. I didn't make a mistake."
SpongeBob's eyes widened and his pupils shrunk. The crowd cheered for Squidward and carried everyone away, leaving SpongeBob alone. Inside SpongeBob, his heart dropped and shattered to pieces. After all he and Mr. Krabs had been through...after all he had done for him...after all their love...
Mr. Krabs didn't choose SpongeBob to be employee of the month.
SpongeBob sobbed next to a dumpster behind the Krusty Krab. His eyes were red and swollen from crying, and tears continued to stain his face. He heard a soft voice that got closer to him. "Hey... SpongeBob... I didn't mean to-"
"How could you? After all of our love?" SpongeBob wailed through tears. "After all I've done for you?" Mr. Krabs looked away with guilt and regret, trying to hold back tears. "After last night?" SpongeBob sniffled and looked into Mr. Krabs eyes, tears streaming from his face.
"Well-Squidward's tentacles..." Mr. Krabs started.
"You disgust me," SpongeBob told him with hatred through sobs.
Mr. Krabs broke down into tears. "I'm sorry SpongeBob!" he wailed, sobbing. "I made a terrible mistake! I still love you with all of my heart! Please SpongeBob! Please forgive me! I beg of you!"
SpongeBob looked into Mr. Krabs' eyes with a burning glare. "What you have done cannot be forgiven." Mr. Krabs sank to the ground, his heart shattered to pieces. "I will now leave this place and never return," SpongeBob said as a hand came down into the water next to SpongeBob. It was David Hasslehoff.
"N-no..." Mr Krabs stuttered, horrified.
David Hasslehoff's hand picked SpongeBob out of the water. SpongeBob sped away on David Hasslehoff, leaving, never looking back, and never to be seen again.
