Lucas was sitting on the roof of his home, looking up at the stars counting them as he thought about his past, when he flinched Genevieve's voice sounding from below him. "Oh, Lucas~"
Lucas sat up and looked down at the ground, panting but no one was there; and he looked around but saw no one and he swallowed.

"Probably me just spazing... again," he murmured, closing his eyes trying to relax.
"She's not here," he murmured over and over again.
"If you keep saying that, Lucas, you'll end up like me," Genevieve snorted.
Lucas looked up and cried out in terror backing up, there she was, Professor Genevieve Terrence Dixon, climbing up a ladder onto the roof, but she looked different.

She looked thin and her hair brown hair was greying, and it was in scraggly locks.
"I guess this what the life of a homeless woman does to you," she whispered, noticing her son studying her.
Lucas swallowed nervously. "You-you..."
"Yes, I know, I know," she rolled her eyes. "I'm the mad professor, who's actually your mother, who used you, who hurt you, I know all about it Lucas, I played a key roll," she finished sarcastically.

"What are you doing here?!" Lucas demanded standing, his whole body shaking.
"Don't go panic on me Lucas," Genevieve sighed. "I've always wanted to talk to you with out Hartman standing over my shoulder."
"Hartman?" He asked puzzled.
"He's an army Major," she nodded with a venomous hiss. "The man who made me kill my husband, and ruin my babies."

"What are you talking about?!" Lucas demanded.
Genevieve sighed and murmured. "When I was nineteen, I was quite a star in the scientific world, I found a way to manipulate Tesla's electricity, it was quite a feat, but I couldn't place in either animals or humans, I was extremely hesitant to continue."

Lucas looked at her, slight panic as he watched her sit not far away from him, to close for his own comfort but nodded.

"That's when Major Jason Hartman came to me and demanded I do the tests on humans, and I said no," she nodded.
"Well that's a surprise," Lucas spat.
"Oh don't be so impudent Lucas," Genevieve snapped. "I even have evidence this happened!"
"Alright, alright," Lucas sighed, hugging his knees.

Genevieve sighed and composed herself again, but her hands were twitching like mad. "The Major kidnaped me and placed me in solitary confinement for two weeks... it was a living hell," she whispered.
Lucas watched his mother quietly as she continued. "After they let me out... I was told to either do what I was told... I'd go back in that room," she swallowed. "I did just about everything I was told."

Lucas watched her and murmured. "Just about everything?"
Genevieve nodded. "I tried to sneak you and Blanche out now and then... but after I'd do that, I'd have you both taken off me, and I was placed in solitary confinement..." she looked up at Lucas with tears in her eyes. "I just wanted my babies and your father... I see him in you right now, so handsome, so amazing," she giggled hysterically. "I remember his screams as the beams pierced his body!"

Lucas' eyes widened and he backed away horrified as Genevieve giggling and cackled, muttering unintelligibly, then she stood up, tall and proud, walking over to him.
"Now, story time is over,
come here Lucas," she snarled a knife in hand.

Lucas froze in terror, years of memories made him hold still, that's when you saw the pair, and you heard Lucas' yell of pain, a flash of electricity, and Genevieve's scream of anger and pain as she stumbled back falling off the roof.
