Authors Note: This song was in my head when I though up the scene between Liv and Nick. :)

We pulled up a large blue house with a big front porch. It was a frat house with greek symbols on the front of the house indicating their designation. I didn't know they were in a fraternity. This was going to be interesting.

Jason was on the front porch. He stood up as soon as we pulled into the driveway opening the garage next to the house and motioning for us to pull the car in.

'Hey, Baby Girl' he sent to me.

'Hey you.' I responded with a smile. Jason was reliable. A bit brooding, emotionally suppressed type but reliable. Knowing he was there made me relax. His dark brown, almost black hair hung down to his shoulders and he stood about 6'5" with broad shoulders. He was playing football up in college. Some sort of defensive lineman. I watched him play back in high school a few times. He was good. Partly because of his size and strength and partly because he could anticipate the other player's moves by hearing their thoughts. An unfair advantage - that's what I called it jokingly.

As soon as Lucas stopped the car, I jumped out, grabbing my backpack. I went to the trunk to check for my bag and found two. I guess one was Jeremy's so I told Lucas to grab the other for himself. Jason walked slowly over to us shutting the garage door after we locked up and moved out onto the driveway.

"Hey" he gestured to me in a deep voice giving me a side hug. "You ok?"

I nodded. He's been there before. Jason has helped protect me a lot of times in the past. He wasn't the best shield but being an outcast he was on our side.

I turned to Lucas feeling his thoughts immediately. 'Get Off Her' he almost roared at Jason through his mind. Jason put his hands up and stepped back immediately.

"Hey, hey! Don't worry about it kid. I'm safe. I'm just a friend." He said almost laughing at Lucas. Not sure what that was all about. I guess Lucas took his job seriously. Maybe he could help get Nick off my back if he is around, I thought jokingly.

"Oops sorry. I forgot to introduce you. Jason, this is my shield Lucas. Lucas, this is Jason. Jason and Nick are on my brothers team too," I explained. Lucas nodded in understanding and the two exchanged awkward handshakes.

Jason gestured towards the garage. "The car will be safe in there tonight. Tomorrow we'll have to get it out of here before one of the other brothers notices our beer pong table isn't accessible." He turned us around towards the house and started forward.

"So Liv, what's going on Baby Girl?" He said as Lucas came up behind me putting his hand on the small of my back. Lucas grabbed my duffle bag from my hand and threw it on his shoulder with the other one. He seemed to like helping me and I wasn't complaining.

"Ah nothing. Just taking a road trip to see the fall leaves." I joked. He nodded.

"Well, you'll be good here tonight. I have a room for you and your boy to stay," Jason smirked noticing the excessive possessiveness from Lucas. "Just a warning there are a lot of people inside. Hope your shields hold dude, she's gonna need them." Jason said testing Lucas.

"I don't have an issue blocking normal people." Lucas shot back. Jason just raised his eyebrows at me and lead us inside.

We walked into a living area and Jason told us to throw our bags down in the corner. Lucas dropped the two duffles but I held onto my backpack. The house was pretty big inside. A staircase lead up to the 2nd level right in the center of the house by the front door. The living room was to the left with a large couch, a dining area to the right.
