Hi. My name is Takashi Shirogane.. But my friends call me Shiro.

I was born with Tuberculosis, a d̶e̶a̶d̶l̶y̶ disease of bacteria that mostly effects your lungs.

I am 18 years old and will die in 12 days with no guarantee of survival.

So.. When you're about to die.. What do you do?

Escape the hospital..? Ditch school..? Meet the love of your life..?

I sat up in my hospital bed, texting my friends as an opened spiral notebook and a pencil sat on my lap.

They didn't know,, yet. I'd tell them one day.

It had been yesterday that I found out. I had many surgeries scheduled for me ahead.. Even though I was going to die anyways.

I stared at the phone as messages pilled into our group chat.

I smiled to myself at Allura's concern. Unlike the others, Allura is an internet friend. Even though she is, we practically know everything about eachother, except what we really look like.

The other guys in the group chat are from school. Pidge, or Katie, was bumped up a grade due to her amazing IQ while Keith just transferred last year since he got kicked out of Garrison Academy.

Lance and Hunk were always together when it came to classes or schools since elementary.

We all currently go to Voltron High, while Allura goes to Altea Academy in a different state.
