She just stared at her feet after I said those words.

"Aiko-ah." I called her name. I can hear her silent sobs which sent pain in my heart.

"Don't cry please." I said as I try to comfort her. "You'll look uglier right?" I said and hugged her into a warm embrace.

But my words does not seem to enter her senses.

"Please Aiko. I do not want to see you cry." I said as I rub her hair and kiss the top of her head.

"Jisung-ah. You don't know how much it hurts me." She said and cried a little harder.

"Shh." I patted her head. "Come on. Let's not talk about it."

"You don't know how much it pained me that my own mother is hurting me physically and emotionally." She slowly said.

I can feel her pain in every words she's spitting out.

"I don't really know how it felt like but I promise I will there for you." I bravely said.

"I will always be."
